Content notice: This game features dark, dystopian corporate humor with frequent verbal references to implied violence, bodily mutilation, and workplace fatalities. The narrative also heavily relies on psychological horror elements, including gaslighting and existential dread. There are no explicit visual depictions of gore, sexual acts, self-harm, or substance abuse; the mature themes are primarily conveyed through the narration and environmental storytelling.

About this game
Congratulations, Candidate. You have been selected for the Ascension Process at Spire Corporation.
C.A.G.E. is a first-person narrative adventure where your choices matter. You are tasked with a simple delivery – what could possibly go wrong? Follow the guidance of C.A.G.E. (Centralized Ascension Guidance Engine), avoid Non-Standard Behavioral Events, move up the Spire corporate ladder and everything will be just fine.
YOUR SHIFT INCLUDES:
Vertical Mobility: Navigate your way from the opulent Lobby, through sterile hallways and neon-lit offices, to the high-altitude Executive Suites. Note: Windows are a luxury reserved only for our most efficient assets.
The Guidance of C.A.G.E.: Your AI manager is more than an elevator operator. He monitors your productivity, manages your 15-second breaks, and ensures any "visual bugs" or "reality decay" you experience are properly explained away as experimental corporate features. Do not question the experimental camouflage. Or the bees.
Certified Problem Solving: Utilize approved Spire tools (such as the standard-issue Omniwrench) to resolve localized environmental tasks. Do not stray from the given instructions.
Contraband Management: Some candidates report finding comfort in unauthorized bio-matter (e.g., a potted cactus). Spire mandates the immediate incineration of all unapproved flora. Keeping it is a violation of company policy and alters your career trajectory.
Absolute Transparency: At Spire Corp, nothing is hidden. Every step you take is data. Every task you complete is a lesson. Every act of resistance is... processed. Work hard. Move up. A compliant employee has nothing to fear from the system.
Will you be the perfect employee, or will you become a glitch in the system?
C.A.G.E. (CAGE) is a solo developer passion project made with love for the dark, bizarre and satirical kind of comedy. The main character is voiced by the talented Daniel Quinton (DQVO).

Demo Update v0.31
While continuing to work on the full game, I'm also not forgetting about providing you, early players, with a good Demo experience! That's why occasionally I still update the demo with some additional fixes and interactions. Since Steam doesn't allow posting update notes specifically for a Demo, I did most of the updates (already over 10 of them) quietly, but since this one added a bunch of brand new voiced interactions, I decided to share the news via the main game page anyway.Update notes:- Added several new highly requested interactions with voiced reactions on multiple floors. Have fun finding them!- Updated some glitchy visual effects to new ones.- Added the option to hide your Steam name that can be visible in certain parts of the game. Also, some notable notes from the previous update:- Added the ability to restart the current floor from the pause menu.- Fixed a texture transparency bug that was affecting some AMD systems.- Optimized the Lobby level for a much better performance even on weaker systems.- Several smaller bug fixes reported by players. If you find any bugs, please report them through the bug report from accessible from the main menu, or in the Steam community discussions. Also, I'd like to give special thanks again to Daniel Quinton (DQVO) for his excellent work voicing C.A.G.E. and his support for this project!Cheers!VRead full article on Community Announcements (Kiv)AnnouncementsOfficial
Demo Achievements
Hi everyone,Thank you so much to everyone who has checked out the demo since it launched a few days ago! The response has been fantastic, and I really appreciate all the feedback and support.Apart from several bug fixes (thanks to the early players for spotting them!) and optimizing the Lobby performance a little, I just pushed a new update today that adds 12 Steam Achievements to the demo.I wanted to add a little something extra to reward players who are taking the time to thoroughly explore the environments and try out weird interactions. While a couple of them are straightforward, most of them are hidden behind some of the more ridiculous things you can do in the game.Make sure your game is updated to the latest version to start unlocking them.Have fun achievement hunting!Read full article on Community Announcements (Kiv)AnnouncementsOfficial
The C.A.G.E. Demo is OUT NOW!
Hi everyone,I'm thrilled to announce that after months of solo development, the C.A.G.E. Demo is officially live and ready for you to play. You can now download the 45-minute preview (or perhaps a lot longer, if you wish to find everything it has to offer) and step into the unnerving hallways of Spire Corporation. You will be guided - and constantly judged - by an unhinged AI manager, fully voice-acted by the talented Daniel Quinton (DQVO), who I'd like to give a huge shoutout and thank again for giving this project a chance.Expect dark corporate satire, narrative choices that actually matter (or at least in the full game - can't spoil everything in the demo yet, can we?), and the authority to recycle your coworkers for incredibly petty infractions (seriously, don't stare at the water cooler for too long. Or the bees.).Here is how you can help support the game:Play the demo: Dive in and experience it yourself.Leave feedback: Let me know your thoughts in the Steam Community discussions. As a solo dev, I read everything! Also, leaving an honest review of the demo on Steam also helps a ton!Wishlist the full game: If you had fun, adding C.A.G.E. to your wishlist is the biggest free way to help the game succeed.Thank you so much to everyone who has followed the development journey so far. Now go clock in for your trial shift, Candidate - C.A.G.E. is waiting.Cheers!Read full article on Community Announcements (Kiv)AnnouncementsOfficial
