About this game
Manage your establishment and pay tribute on time
Lantern Lane is an ancient Chinese management roguelike. The guests are already inside, and the countdown has already begun. Within a limited time, you must build businesses, assign employees, create powerful combinations, and turn your venue into a steady source of income.
Build while you run the business
Customers will continuously enter the venue, visit different buildings, and generate income. You can purchase new buildings and employees from the shop at any time and add them to your operation.
Each building can be assigned different employees, and employee traits can change the way a building earns money.
Upgrade the shop and increase Renown
Earn silver ingots, refresh the shop, upgrade the shop level, or increase Renown to attract more customers.
Should you search for a key employee first, or expand your customer flow? Should you play it safe and pay tribute steadily, or gamble on an explosive combo?
Every round is a new management decision.
Find your own way to run the business
The court demands tribute, the guests seek pleasure, and your job is to squeeze out as much profit as possible within the time limit.
Build, combine, refresh, and upgrade. Let the guests come in, and make sure the coin stays.
There is no fixed answer.
In each run, you must adapt to what the shop offers and decide how to make money this round.

You are welcome to download and try it out! In this demo, you will get an early look at the core gameplay loop: - Place buildings - Recruit employees - Serve customers - Refresh the shop - Build different strategies to earn more coin This demo includes: - 20+ available buildings - 50+ recruitable employees - 2 playable maps - Some customer professions and status systems - The early-game core management loop Lantern Lane is a management roguelike set in a fictional ancient world. You need to run your venue within a limited time, place businesses, assign employees, attract customers, and earn enough tribute before time runs out. The shop changes every run, so you will need to adapt based on the buildings and employees you find, and decide how to make money in each round. Please note that this demo is still in development.
