An incremental roguelike fishing game. Start with one tool, end with five. Draft, upgrade and stack them, then hunt 70 species across eight oceans until the whole sea is biting at once. Rivals steal your cards. Something in the dark already knows your name. One more round. Always one more round.

About this game
Cast your line. Stack your tools. Get hooked, one round at a time.
This is what you're working towards.
Five tools in the water, the meter fills, Fever hits and the ocean loses its mind. Fish everywhere, catches every half second, gold piling up faster than you can read the numbers. It's the best ten seconds in the game.
You don't start there.
You start with one tool and twenty seconds a round. One fish, a few coins, go again. Fishing Fever is built on short runs that escalate fast. Round 4 is calm. Round 20 is busy. Round 40 is the thing in the first GIF.
So draft, upgrade, break.
Every round hands you a new tool. Rods, nets, harpoons, drones, traps, 45 of them. Upgrade them, stack them, and chase that one combo that makes the whole run click. What does stacking three Lucky Nets actually do? Find out.
Then leave the coast.
Eight oceans and every one of them fishes differently. Warm reefs. Arctic ice. A drowned city. Seventy species, a Fishdex to fill and an aquarium to keep them in. And every so often a Big One turns up and the whole round is about landing it.
You're not alone out there.
Golden fish surface for a few seconds and vanish. From round fifty a rival boat pulls up beside you. Win the best of three or watch them sail off with one of your cards. They might even have your friend's name.
Then spend the haul.
Shop upgrades that stay forever. Treasures that rewrite a run. A crew to hire. A talent tree that keeps unfolding. Every run leaves you stronger than the last.
And somewhere out there, something is waiting.
Bottles wash up with pages from a captain's log. Read them in order. Around page seven you'll want to stop. You won't.
It's a fishing game. It's an incremental. It's stupidly addictive.
45 tools. 70 fish. 8 oceans. And it goes deeper than you think.
"One more round. Just one more." You've been saying that for three hours.

Big Demo Update: new UI, Fever Mode, The Big One and where the full game is at
Hey everyone,The demo just got its biggest update since launch: a completely new look and a pile of new systems. The store page has been updated to match, so what you see there is what you get. Here's what changed, and then an honest status update on the full game.A BRAND NEW LOOKThe entire UI has been reskinned from the ground up. New menus, new harbor, new HUD, new everything: a translucent "ocean glass" style that sits on top of the water instead of covering it up. Same game underneath, but it finally looks like the game I wanted it to look like. Nothing was removed. Every stat, button and screen you had before is still there, it just reads better now.FEVER MODEFill the Fever meter and the ocean loses its mind. Fish flood in, gold multiplies, and your chain keeps climbing as long as you keep landing catches. Break the chain and you lose it.It's the best ten seconds in the game and it's the reason "one more round" turns into three hours.THE BIG ONEEvery few rounds the fish scatter and something much bigger charges in from off-screen. It thrashes, it drags your tools off it, and you've got seconds to wear it down before it's gone. Land it and the payout is enormous. GLIMMER FISHOccasionally a fish starts glowing. Catch it fast, it's worth ten times what it should be, and it doesn't stick around.A MUCH BETTER FIRST TEN MINUTESThis was the big one behind the scenes. A lot of players told me the game got great after a while, the problem was the "after a while" part. So the early game has been rebuilt to actually deliver: - Your first treasure now shows up around round 4 instead of 6- A guaranteed Rare fish at round 5, a guaranteed Epic at round 10- Tool upgrades cost a fraction of what they used to: your first upgrade is now reachable around round 5 instead of round 10- Shop items are affordable from the very first rounds instead of being locked behind hours of grinding- Tools hit their first capacity upgrade far sooner If you bounced off the demo early before, this i...Read full article on Community Announcements (Gut Punch Studio)Patch NotesOfficial
Updates and Tweaks
Hey everyone,Thank you for playing Fishing Fever — I hope you've been enjoying it as much as I've loved making it.Here's what's new in this update:1. Better fishing tools, earlier: Rare, Epic, and Legendary tools now start appearing in your card drafts from round 15 instead of round 20+. 2. Tool hitbox indicator: Every fishing tool now wears a circle showing exactly where its catch zone is. No more guessing where your line lands.3. Catching animation: When a tool is reeling in a fish, the indicator pulses with a subtle heartbeat — and yes, this works on auto-tools too (Crab Trap, Drift Net, etc.), so the whole boat feels alive.4. Color-coded tools: Your player-controlled tool shows a soft green circle. Auto-tools wear a warm amber. At a glance you'll always know which one is yours.5. Brand new UI: A full visual refresh — cleaner, sharper, easier to read.6. Fishdex cleanup: A couple of duplicate fish entries were removed so the collection feels properly curated. The full game is in the works, and it's much bigger than the demo: a weather system, a rival pirate who tries to steal your fish (and your cards), mini-games, new zones, and a lot more.If you've been enjoying Fishing Fever, please consider wishlisting it — it's the single biggest thing you can do to support the project, and you'll be notified the moment it launches. Thanks for playing, stay safe, and happy gaming!Read full article on Community Announcements (Gut Punch Studio)
