Getting everyone in the same place should be easy… right? Flight Date is a logic puzzle that turns seemingly simple meetups into absurdly complicated travel plans. Untangle the logistical chaos, find the right routes, and share in the little moments each meetup leaves behind.

About this game
In Flight Date, your job is to bring together people who live far apart. The catch? You don’t know where they’re meeting. Where they end up depends on the limited flight tickets you have to work with.
Assign tickets
Start with the tickets you have and decide who gets which flight.

Plan routes
Sometimes the solution is as simple as a single direct flight. Other times, a small meetup turns into an absurdly complicated travel plan after a few layovers.

Work around constraints
You can’t use every flight however you like. Schedules need to line up, connections need to work, and each route has to fit everyone’s plans. As you progress, budgets, weather conditions, and new travel rules come into play.

Solve at your own pace
Swap tickets around, try different connections, and untangle the logistical mess at your own pace. It’s not about finding the answer fast; it’s about slowly piecing together a route that works with the limited options you have.

Bring people together
Follow Hilal, Mateo, and the other characters you’ll meet along the way through friendships, family, dates, and little everyday plans. Watch them grab coffee, stop by a bookshop, have a picnic, or finally share something they’ve been meaning to talk about for a while.
Every completed journey leaves behind a little memory.

As you meet new characters and discover new cities, the puzzles change too. But the goal stays the same: work with the limited options you have, find the right routes, and bring people’s paths together again.
Build the right travel plan for everyone with just a handful of flight tickets.
Work around layovers, schedules, budgets, and different needs.
Get to know the characters, discover the bonds between them, and share in the little moments their meetups leave behind.
Solve increasingly varied travel puzzles as you discover new cities and meet new characters.
Try different routes at your own pace and untangle the logistical mess.
Disclaimer: All flights in this game are fictional. We do not recommend this many layovers in real life.

Meet Chirp Chirp Games 🐥 The Story of the Flight Date
Hi! After the demo launch, we received more support than we could have imagined. We gathered lots of feedback on the demo and got to know so many lovely people. So far, we’ve mostly been talking about Flight Date, and we thought it was finally time to introduce ourselves too.So… hi. We’re Chirp Chirp Games!Flight Date actually started as a game jam project earlier this year. On March 8, we made the first version for Hack the Loop: Women’s Day Game Jam, where it won Best Game Design. We were proud of what we achieved, and we really liked working together. And that’s basically how Chirp Chirp Games and Flight Date started. The cover photo is us taking a break from the jam to enjoy the sunset on the rooftop of Bahçeşehir University. We each slept for a total of about 6 hours during the jam.First scribbles of the Flight DateWe managed to launch our Steam page in almost a month. This was our first-ever key art:And this is how the game looked when we first launched the page:After launching the page, we focused more on improving the game and eventually turned it into this:With this version, we were able to publicly playtest our game at the Zonetalks 3.0 Showcase. After two more playtesting sessions on Steam, we finally launched our demo, about five months after starting the project. The demo launch during Wholesome Games Celebration was probably the biggest moment for us so far. More than 1,000 people played the demo, we got to watch our first gameplay videos, read your reviews and messages, and reached more than 3,400 wishlists, which made us believe that this might actually work.Chirp Chirp GamesWe’re a very small team: Gamze works on art, game design, creative direction, and generally worries about everything; Negar programs, designs systems, and turns our ideas into functioning game mechanics; and Özge is always there to help with anything we need, mostly art and animation. Here's our interview made with Hack the Loop(in English):We’re active on social media, where we post ...Read full article on Community Announcements (Gamze Öztürk)AnnouncementsOfficial

Hi everyone!First of all, we want to say a huge welcome to everyone who has just discovered Flight Date, followed the game, or added it to their wishlist! 💗This is the first time we’ve reached this many people. We actually REALLY released the demo, and you’re actually REALLY playing it??? We’re still having a hard time believing it, hehe. There are still a few bugs you may run into. We’re constantly checking the game and fixing issues as we find them. If you encounter anything, letting us know through Discord would help us a lot.We worked really hard to release the demo in the best state we could. We’re quite happy with where the gameplay is right now, but there were a few things we simply couldn’t finish in time, so some parts had to launch in a slightly incomplete state. But don’t worry, we’ll be adding and improving them through updates over the next few days! A couple of things we’re currently working on:We’ll be adding different facial expressions to the characters during dialogue. We’re really happy that you liked the current placeholder artwork at the end of each level… but yes, we’re replacing those too. :) They’ll still be cute, we promise. We also want to give a huge thank you to Wholesome Games for the visibility they’ve given us. They helped Flight Date reach players who might genuinely enjoy the game, and that means a lot to us. 💗We’ll keep improving and updating the demo, and we’ll share patch notes here whenever a new update goes live.Thank you so much to everyone who has played the game, wishlisted it, sent us messages, or supported us in any way.See you soon! ✈️ Chirp Chirp GamesRead full article on Community Announcements (Gamze Öztürk)AnnouncementsOfficial

Playtest V1 Notes: What We Learned ✈️
Hello everyone! Our first Flight Date playtest is now behind us, and we wanted to share a small update about what we learned from it.First of all, thank you so much to everyone who played, shared feedback, reported bugs, or just took the time to write down their thoughts. This was our first public playtest, so seeing people actually solve levels, get confused, enjoy the planning, and suggest new ideas was incredibly helpful for us.What players likedOne of the biggest things we were happy to see was that the core loop seems to work.Players enjoyed arranging tickets, planning routes, and figuring out how to reunite characters. We also got several comments about the bullet journal / travel planner aesthetic, the cozy feeling, and the satisfaction of completing a level. The timeline mechanic also stood out a lot. Some players even said it felt like it could become a whole separate game mechanic on its own, which was very encouraging to hear. What was confusingThe playtest also showed us where the game needs to be clearer. Some players were not sure where characters were supposed to meet, or what exactly the goal of a level was. The dialogue progression was not always obvious either, especially when players had to click to continue. We also noticed that the timeline needs a better visual language. The colors and icons were not clear enough, and in some cases the time-of-day system caused confusion instead of helping with planning.Another important note was the ticket dragging. Dropping a ticket directly onto a character felt too precise, so we want to make that interaction more forgiving and comfortable.Things we are improvingBased on the playtest feedback, our current focus is on clarity, readability, and comfort. Some of the improvements we’re working on:Making dialogue progression clearerImproving speech bubble placement and readabilityReworking the timeline visualsMaking warning symbols easier to understandMaking ticket dragging and dropping feel smootherAdjusting the diff...Read full article on Community Announcements (Gamze Öztürk)
