About this game
Prepare to enter the rift. Where the fate of two worlds is decided with every match.
Bring the Rift is a vibrant competitive puzzle game that blends classic color-matching strategy with a dense Visual Novel narrative. Set in a future shaped by the "Interworld Incident," the game puts you in control of Rifters: individuals who crossed mysterious portals and returned with reality-warping abilities.

A PUZZLE WITH THE SOUL OF A FIGHTER
It’s not just about matching blocks; it’s about managing your energy and mastering the Rift system. Build up energy to unleash devastating attacks that raise your opponent's board or use support skills to clear your own path. Every character possesses unique passives and abilities that drastically change how you play.
ONE STORY, MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES
Dive into an epic campaign mode with over 10 chapters. What begins as the rescue of a friend kidnapped by the dangerous Rupture Gang transforms into a full-scale invasion of Earth involving a deity from another world. Play through intertwined points of view to uncover the truth: what really came from the other side of the portals?

Highlights:
Fast-Paced Gameplay: Match colors vertically, horizontally, or diagonally in a frantic rhythm.
Rift Skill System: Each character brings exclusive offensive and defensive powers. Choose the Rifter that best fits your playstyle!
Local Multiplayer: Challenge a friend in VS mode and finally discover who is the true master of colors with customizable rules.
Adaptive AI: Fine-tune the AI difficulty with granular settings—ranging from a relaxed match to a high-level technical challenge.
Diverse Game Modes:
Story Mode: The full experience with dialogues, lore, and plot twists.
Arcade Mode: A classic sequence of challenges to test your endurance.
Endless Mode: Break your own records for time and score.
Full Customization: Change block designs and adjust the gameplay to follow your own pace.
Native Controller Support: Plug in your controller and play instantly.
The Cast of Rifters:
Meet captivating characters like Raimundo, the prodigy of the Nexus Academy; Shade, an anti-hero driven by grief; and Vorath, a being from another dimension whose pure intentions were distorted by the corruption of our world.

Are you ready to cross the rift? Epsilon is watching you.

Quality of Life Update & Balance Adjustments
Hey Rifters! Today we’re dropping a mini-update focused on adding more "game juice" to the dialogues, polishing the visuals, and making an important character balance adjustment to keep matches feeling smooth. Here’s what’s new: Dialogues with more Juice Typing Rhythm: Text now takes a slight dramatic pause whenever it hits punctuation marks like periods, commas, exclamation points, and question marks (., ,, !, ?). This adds a ton of juice and makes reading feel way better! Combat Alerts: No more surprises! When a conversation is about to end straight into a battle, the classic button immediately changes to . Animated Portraits: To bring more life to the characters, the portrait of whoever is speaking will now dynamically move on screen. Kyro Adjustment (Balancing) We noticed that Kyro's support was clearing the top blocks, which pretty much prevented him from properly lowering solid blocks. Solid Block Immunity: To fix this, Kyro is now immune to solid blocks! For him, these obstacles will behave and be treated exactly like normal blocks. Thank you so much for the continuous feedback and support! Have fun in the Rift!Read full article on Community Announcements (DivinSphere)AnnouncementsOfficial
Bring The Rift Successfully Launched!
The game is finally out!Hi, I’m ShiroDev, the developer behind *Bring The Rift*. This is my first Steam release—so it probably won't be a massive blockbuster or anything like that—but it means the world to me. After all, it marks the start of an incredible journey as a game developer! After releasing several small, free projects, I wanted to take a chance on something bigger and start releasing commercial titles. I decided to go for it with this game; it was originally created for a game jam called "None Jam 12." I didn't win the jam, but I grew really attached to the project, so I decided to give it another shot and a full release!I had a few other projects in mind for my first commercial game, but I ended up liking this one so much that I felt I had to choose it—and so... it happened! After months of hard work, I’ve achieved a result I’m really happy with! It’s not perfect, and I’ll probably have to roll out plenty of fixes soon (hehe), but I promise to address any issues as quickly as I can!As for feedback... I want it! As much as possible! As soon as possible! I’m all ears, so please tell me what you think of the game and what I could improve! I’ll genuinely read every message you send, analyze it, and implement changes—just as I’ve done with feedback I’ve received in the past! Feel free to post your feedback in the game's forums:https://steamcommunity.com/app/4631200/discussions/0/805723742332284056/And now, here’s the new trailer I edited for this release :D (It’s not much, but it’s honest work, haha). It took a bit of effort since this isn't my field, but I really tried to make something cool—I hope you like it!Oh, and before I forget... this is also extremely important—hehe—besides the game launch, it’s my birthday! So, happy birthday to me! I’m releasing this game on this date to thank myself for everything I’ve done to pursue my own dreams and goals, for every milestone reached and every challenge overcome. So, thank you for everything, past-me! I hope you’...Read full article on Community Announcements (DivinSphere)Community & EventsOfficial
New demo available for Next Fest!
It has finally begun! Steam Next Fest is officially live! This is our very first time participating in an event of this magnitude, and honestly, we are incredibly excited. We have dedicated the last few months to preparing the best possible experience for you. If you want to compete, test your skills, and help us shape the future of the game, come check out all the new features we’ve prepared for this special demo!New Characters Available: Shade & Lisa!We have expanded the select screen for this festival! Now, you can test your strategies with two new members who bring different dynamics to the gameplay:Shade: Master of shadows, whose favorite color is Purple.Lisa: Bringing control and stability, her favorite color is Green. New AI Under Testing!Anyone who played the previous demo will definitely notice a shift in how the AI behaves. We have reworked it so it’s not overly complex while still holding its ground during matches without becoming completely overpowered. After all, if the AI is invincible, the game loses its fun!The previous 10 difficulty settings have been expanded into 15 distinct levels. We are still fine-tuning the balance, but they are far from impossible; in fact, the transition from one level to the next is much smoother now.Details That Matter (QoL)We went back to several areas of the game to improve the user interface and Quality of Life:Clearer Menus: The navigation arrows are now orange, gaining visual prominence and a brand-new responsive animation. It is now much easier to distinguish between selectable options and toggle menus.Fixed Audio: We blocked unintended interactions within the toggle menus. The game now triggers the correct audio feedback, preventing misclicks.Your Voice Matters: We Need Your Feedback! We are in the final stages of development, and every single opinion is crucial to ensuring we deliver the perfect game at launch. We have created a dedicated topic on our official Steam forums to gather your thoughts, bug reports, and su...Read full article on Community Announcements (DivinSphere)AnnouncementsOfficial
Less than 1 month until the game's release!
The final preparations for the game's launch are underway right now!The last major content update for the project's release is practically complete, so let's get to the news!5 New Characters Added!Soon you'll be able to meet the newest members of this huge family! Some videos have already been posted about 3 of these characters, and more are on their way, bringing a new saga to the project! So on launch day, you'll be able to enjoy 3 distinct sagas with each of these incredible characters! Each of them has different mechanics, mostly new, indicating that they are relatively different from previous characters. Curious? Then add the game to your wishlist and we'll see you on June 25th, both to celebrate the game's launch and the creator's birthday!Additional Portrait Update! Each character in the game has just received 2 additional portraits! That's right, the characters are now more expressive in the game, not as much as I'd like, but this change has given each of them an extra charm! Now the characters have a portrait in Special mode, meaning when their bar fills up and they activate their transition, and they also have a victory portrait, making a different face, a pose, and things like that. This update will also cover the custom chapter creation mode in the future, and if there's time, the story mode! For now, these are some of the new features coming with the game's release! Also, add the project to your Wishlist and feel free to give as much feedback as possible on any problems you find, I appreciate it!Read full article on Community Announcements (DivinSphere)AnnouncementsOfficial
