About this game
HOOOOOONK! MOVE IT GRANDMA!
A 2D puzzle game inspired by the erratic behaviours of Portuguese drivers... especially in roundabouts... because as we all know it, as soon as you enter a roundabout the common sense goes out the window.
Vroomity Loops is a 2D puzzle game where the player needs to escape the roundabout without going in the wrong exit or causing an accident. As the player progresses the levels get more complex and new elements are introduced such as continuous lines to block movement, cars with three different speeds, traffic cones, and oil spins that causes the player to spin in the roundabout.

Two sets of controls!
We believe that everyone has the right to choose how to play the game (and totally not because we wanted to be clever with the movement)... When playing Vroomity Loops you can choose between the Legacy Controls or the Intuitive Controls.

Solve moving puzzles vaguely inspired by Portuguese road laws!
In a roundabout there is constant movement... so why would these puzzles be still?
Discover a way to exit the roundabout without crashing into ongoing traffic, and avoiding (or just go for a spin in) the occasional oil spills, traffic cones left by the road crew, and remember.. if the lines are continuous you cannot drive through them.
Unlock cars!
There is a total of 10 unlock-able cars that not only change the visual of your car but can also change some aspect of the gameplay. The real question is... are you going to fill up the garage or are you going to leave it empty?
Show off your skills!
The best part of a game (despite having fun) is collecting all those fun achievements, and there are plenty for you to collect! Some will be unlocked just by playing normally, but there are other where you need to think a bit outside of the box. In the end you will have a beautiful achievement gallery!
...or maybe you can even unlock other gameplay aspects...?
Secret mini game!
Oh yes, you read that right! Somewhere in the game you can unlock a mini game, maybe you need to hit some cones.. maybe you need to avoid some oil.. or maybe you just need to crash into some cars (even though we told you to not do that). But half of the fun is discovering how to unlock it, right?
...but we aren't quite ready to show it right now, it's still under construction (pun intended) but we will share as soon as it's ready!

Disclaimer!
Although Vroomity Loops is inspired by road laws, we don't encourage players to drive like this in real-life scenarios. Please always follow your local road laws.

Post Comic Con Portugal bug fix!
Hello,Anni and João from Happy Chimkens here! We heard your feedback and took note of all the bugs (and your comments on level difficulty) found during the four days of Comic Con Portugal (April 23-26). To make your experience the best it can be, we’ve fixed (almost) all of those little pesky buggers. So what has changed? You can no longer drive outside the roundabout constraints (hopefully). The “Yes” button in the retry/continue menu is now the default selection. Same thing with the main menu: the “Play” button will be selected by default, but as soon as the mouse is moved it will become deselected.Hitting the slow car now counts toward the achievement. You can now use the “esc” key to open the pause menu. When the retry menu is open, you no longer can play/lose the level.Resolution issues on levels with four lanes have been fixed. The text indicating the correct exit on level 3 has been fixed. On level 4, you now can see where you will start without another car overlapping. On level 5, one of the fast cars has been removed, so the level is less reaction based. You no longer can unlock the “Mean Car”, but it will be unlockable in the full version of the game and will have a special ability attached to it.There are small cosmetic changes to the “Beatle” car (including the name) to ensure there won’t be any copyright infringements in the future. It is now known as “Buggy”.End-of-level stats have been fixed, which means they are now being counted correctly. Hitting a car no longer counts as a wrong exit, and vice-versa.What we know that still needs to be changed? The settings menu will get a complete redesign in the future. When it was originally designed, we didn’t account for gamepad input, so the navigation is currently wonky and confusing. There needs to be an easy way for players to try out both sets of controls at the start of the game. We’re going to release another build for the demo closer to the release date. If you find more bugs, please keep reporting them and we’ll ...Read full article on Community Announcements (happychimkens)
