About this game
A world worth wandering.

About the Game
A geography game for quiet curiosity.
All 193 UN member countries. Five ways to play.
A single, cohesive living world. Cozy by design.
For the quietly curious, the armchair traveler, the parent and child sharing a globe.
FROM ORBIT TO THE MAP.
Every Map Game round begins on the globe, then the camera dives down onto a real, photoreal Earth where you place flags onto the right countries. Regional levels build toward the whole world, with US States as a bonus and a Hardcore mode that adds the micro-states most people miss. Earn stars. Unlock new expeditions.
STUDY A LIVING GLOBE.
Study Mode is a navigable 3D globe you can spin and explore. Pick a region, fly in, and tap any country to learn its flag, capital, language, currency, and a natural wonder. Switch between a photoreal satellite Earth and a clean classic map. The more you learn, the more your world is revealed. No scoring, no timer, just you and the planet.
ONE MORE RUN.
Endless Expedition is a single run that lasts as long as you can keep going. Flags come one after another. You have three lanterns, and a wrong answer costs you one. The further you go, the deeper and rarer the world becomes. The only question that matters is how far you can chart.
CHAIN THE BORDERS.
Border Run sends you from one country to the next using nothing but real, shared land borders. Type your way from neighbor to neighbor, and watch the paths narrow with every step. Five routes a session, a hint ladder for when you get stuck, and a globe at the end that draws your whole journey in arcs.
A NEW EXPEDITION EVERY DAY.
Ten countries, one fresh puzzle, the same challenge for every player worldwide. Build your streak, beat your time, come back tomorrow. Chain correct answers and your combo builds across every mode.
MORE WAYS TO PLAY WITH FLAGS.
Geo Cards turns flags into quick, lighter sessions. Match flag pairs from memory, perfect for shorter breaks.
A HOME OF YOUR OWN.
Every achievement is a magnet on the door of your own cozy room. Earn
one and it lights up in color, while the ones still ahead of you wait
in gray. The room fills in as you go, and a guide by your side quietly
points you toward whatever you are closest to earning next. Twenty-five
achievements to find, and for the first time, they unlock on your Steam
profile too.
BUILT FOR CRAFT, NOT GRIND
All 193 UN member countries, with more study content on the way
Stars, achievements, and explorer tiers
25 achievements, a home that fills in as you earn them, and real Steam achievement support
A combo system that rewards getting into a rhythm
Save progress per level, come back whenever life lets you
Single-player, no ads, no microtransactions
The world is bigger than you think. GeoFlag is here to help you see more of it.
Built with care by a solo developer. Tested daily by his two daughters. Made for the curious, the wandering, and anyone who still gets a small thrill from finding a country they didn't know existed.

New art in the Shop, and a border bug fixed
A visual update to the Shop today. Six of the Memory card backs now use real artwork instead of the old plain gradients, including two brand-new designs, Postcard Stack and Passport Stamps. Nine of the celebration tile icons in the Shop have also been rebuilt with real artwork, so what you see there now actually matches the celebration you unlock. And a bug fix: equipping a border could sometimes make other items in the Shop repaint to look like it too. Purely a display issue, nothing on your profile was ever actually changed, but it's fixed now.You may also notice a small refresh: the game's icon in your library and taskbar has a new look. Thank you for playing.Read full article on Community Announcements (ogorod)AnnouncementsOfficial
The quiz mode I mentioned is here: Border Run
Remember the quiz mode I mentioned I was checking facts and building for? The first one just landed, and it is called Border Run. You start in one country and have to reach another, but the only moves you get are real, shared land borders. Type your way from neighbor to neighbor, watching your options narrow with every step. - Five routes each session, one after another- A three-tier hint ladder for when a chain has you stuck- A globe result screen at the end, your whole path drawn out in arcs- Coins and experience toward your explorer level, same as everywhere else Endless Expedition and Border Run now share a home too, both live under a new Quiz entry on the main menu. This is the first of a small family of quiz modes I have been building. There is at least one more taking shape behind it, still being tested, still not ready to talk about. But this one is ready, and I hope you like it. Thank you for exploring with me.Read full article on Community Announcements (ogorod)AnnouncementsOfficial
Something new is coming: a quiz mode
I wanted to share something I am working on, even though it is not ready yet. It is a new quiz mode for GeoFlag, a different way to test what you know about the world. I do not want to say too much before it is real, but I am excited about it, and I think it is another good way to explore and learn, not just answer questions. Right now I am checking every fact by hand, designing how it should look and feel, and writing the code behind it, all at the same time, all by myself. It takes longer this way, but I would rather get it right than rush it out. I do not have a date for you yet. But I wanted you to know the game is alive, and something new is on the way. Thank you for being here while it comes together.Read full article on Community Announcements (ogorod)AnnouncementsOfficial
Endless Expedition now adapts to you
A gameplay update to Endless Expedition today. Country selection now adapts to what you actually know. As you descend through Familiar Lands, Distant Shores, Uncharted Territory, and the Deep Unknown, the flags you see are drawn from your own history with each country, so the challenge grows with you instead of repeating the same set every run. Wrong answers are fairer too. They are now matched to the real difficulty of the question, so you are never eliminating an obscure country just because you have never heard of it. Thank you for playing, and for pushing this game to be better.Read full article on Community Announcements (ogorod)AnnouncementsOfficial
Celebrations reimagined, Pair Up fixed
A visual and gameplay update today. Four of the celebration animations you see after a run have been rebuilt from the ground up. Globe Spin, Lantern Release, Northern Lights, and Balloon Ascent now use real artwork instead of drawn shapes, and each one reads clearer and feels more alive than before. And in Pair Up, a bug meant every refill was handing you a free match without realizing it. That is fixed now, refills deal fairly, so the challenge is honest again, especially on World Mix. Thank you for playing, and for helping this game keep getting better.Read full article on Community Announcements (ogorod)
