    Updated Demo (v0.8.1)

Hey Pit Wizards! We've added a ton of additions and fixes over the last couple months. We've put a lot of work into making all the different weapons feel powerful and fun. Most notable might be all the new music we added. There are now 17 different music tracks (9 gameplay, 4 boss, 4 for various menus). I'd say it rocks, but you've gotta listen for yourself. If you've been itching to play in a different language we've done a first pass of localization for the game. We worked out several loc bugs, but please give us a shout if anything looks off - except for the pesky german word wrapping on that one button. We'll fix it we swear!Updates to demo build (v0.8.1)Removed the side goals systemAdded gnomes. After unlocking gnomes they have a chance to appear in a level and will drop special resources when defeatedAdded an upgrade that will give destructibles a chance to drop gemsAdjusted the layouts of the skill treesAdded more upgrades and did a huge balance pass on upgradesDid a pass on difficulty. The game’s now harder than the previous demo build (it was TOO easy). It should be a good challenge, but not frustrating. If it’s frustrating that’s an issue! (FYI, I’m considering adding a difficulty modifier!)Enemies shoot different types of projectiles nowChanged magic missiles so they're fired in waves, and there’s a cooldown after each waveUpdated homing projectiles so instead of potentially slowing down and reversing direction they keep their speed and rotate towards their targetAdjusted the speed of enemy projectiles so they start out slower and ramp up quicklyAdded several new music tracksAdded separate boss and main menu musicAdded several new sfxFixed the music/sfx slider labels (they were swapped)Lower the speed and weight of enemy animations based on their movement speedAdded trails to projectilesFixed a bug that prevented scrolling through drop-down menus with a mouseThe right thumbstick on gamepads now zooms in/out of the upgrade treeBetter hit detection for sever...

Hotkeys are set up to make it quick and easy to do certain actions like open menus and start a new game.Text is easily legible (if you see anything that's hard to read please let us know!)We haven't submitted for official compatibility yet, but we're hoping to get approved before release if the option opens up to usHappy gaming!Be-Rad

    Updated Demo (v0.6.9)

Hey Pit Wizards! We've added a few more additions and fixes based on the feedback we've received. One notable set of feedback we heard was how some weapons could be punchier, so we're working to make them more fun. The biggest change in this area is to how magic missiles work. Instead of firing a single bolt you'll fire an arc of several projectiles. It should be more fun, and you can play around with your positioning when they're about to fire off to try and hit more things! It's much better now and we hope you enjoy it. We've also updated the capsule image - hope you like it.Here's a list of the most notable updates in the latest build.Updates to demo build (v0.6.9)Update magic missiles so it fires a spread of projectiles (they’re more fun now!)The Circling Orbs weapon is now included in the demo (you'll need to unlock them in the skill tree)Better damage collision detection for player weapons hitting big enemies. This is for magic missiles, circling orbs, and the kickable spike ballSome visual upgrades to the main menuUpdated the texture for the circling orbsLowered default glyph blast cooldown from 30s->20sTuned difficulty of a few levels and enemiesTuned cost and upgrade values of several upgradesIncreased side goal targets for a few goal typesUpdated the capsule imageThanks for playing!

Sorry for the mild spoiler...)Tuned some enemies and levelsMade sure projectiles draw on top of things like the beam attacks so they're easier to seeMade the enemies flash more so it's easier to see when they're about to shootAdded a few more quick tutorial popupsTinted the background art for different levels so each level looks slightly differentImproved the "Time is running out" indicators and added a fullscreen effectAdded better enemy separation so entities won't hide out behind bosses as easilyPlus a bunch more little thingsThanks for playing!
