About this game

CAAAHR is a chaotic coop game where two players control one very questionable car using teamwork, timing, and increasingly concerning vocal noises.

One player uses their voice to accelerate the car. The louder you are, the faster it goes. The other player steers the car through dangerous tracks, obstacle courses, jumps, traps, and other terrible ideas. They also need to use short sounds and noises to trigger boosts, jumps, and special abilities at the right moment.

Communication is key. Unfortunately, screaming also works.

You can play together online, locally, or even alone if you feel like arguing with yourself instead of a friend. Either way, by the end of the journey, you will probably lose your voice. Possibly also your friendship. Embrace the noise.

  • Unlock Skins & Achievements

  • Fully Rebindable Controls
Because every keyboard deserves a chance to recover differently.

Hey! I'm Mateo, a 23-year-old solo game developer from Germany.

In July 2025, I released my first coop rage game, Paddle Paddle Paddle, which somehow went viral and damaged an alarming number of friendships. Now I'm back with my second chaotic coop experience: CAAAHR

This time, I wanted to combine challenging coop gameplay with voice controls, loud communication, and complete panic. I truly hope you enjoy it. Your neighbors probably won't.

The CAAAHR! Demo Is Out Now!

Hey everyone,Today's the day.The CAAAHR! Demo is officially live, and with Steam Next Fest kicking off today, you can finally experience what happens when someone decides that controlling a car with their voice is a perfectly reasonable game mechanic.... Spoiler: it isn't.In CAAAHR!, one player has to make the car go faster by using their voice, while the other desperately tries to steer through obstacles, jumps, and increasingly questionable situations. Sometimes they'll need to use their voice too.The result is exactly what you'd expect.Lots of shouting. Lots of crashing. Lots of blaming each other. And occasionally, actual teamwork. The demo lets you experience a section of the game's giant handcrafted level and gives you a taste of the chaos, friendship testing, and vocal destruction waiting in the full release.Whether you're bringing your best friend, your worst friend, your sibling, your partner, or some random person from the internet, I sincerely wish your vocal cords the best of luck.If you enjoy the demo, please consider wishlisting the game. It helps a ton and lets you stay up to date as development continues. Now go start some engines. Or, more accurately: Go scream at them. (And don't forget to wishlist!)Yours, Mateo

    CAAAHR! Has Been Announced

Hey everyone,Some of you may know me as the guy who made Paddle Paddle Paddle and accidentally helped end a concerning number of friendships.Well... I found my passion. And apparently that passion is making games where two friends have to work together under increasingly stressful circumstances. For quite a while now, I've had this absolutely ridiculous idea stuck in my head: "What if one player had to drive a car using nothing but their voice?" The more I thought about it, the more I realized there was only one responsible thing to do.Make the game.So today, I'm incredibly excited to finally announce CAAAHR!In CAAAHR!, one player uses their voice to accelerate the car. The louder they are, the faster it goes. Meanwhile, the second player has to steer through obstacle courses, dangerous tracks, jumps, and other questionable design decisions. Sometimes they'll have to use their voice too, triggering boosts, jumps, and special abilities at exactly the right moment. The result is exactly as chaotic as it sounds. Communication helps. Screaming helps more. And the best part? You'll be able to try it yourself very soon. CAAAHR! will be playable during the upcoming Steam Next Fest, where everyone can jump into the demo and experience the madness firsthand. If this sounds like your kind of chaos, please consider wishlisting the game. It helps a ton, and you'll be notified when new updates arrive and when the demo goes live.Thank you all for the incredible support you've shown me over the past year. Seeing so many people enjoy Paddle Paddle Paddle has been surreal, and I genuinely can't wait to see what happens when you start screaming at a car together.Wish me luck. And maybe warn your neighbors.Yours, Mateo
