  Devlog: SUPERS: June recap

  Hi everyone! We’re sharing a quick June development update for SUPERS. This month, the team was focused mostly on the project’s foundation: the story, visuals, animations, and also preparing the core mechanics for implementation.On the narrative side, we’ve reached an important milestone: the episode-by-episode outline of the game is now complete. SUPERS will consist of a prologue and 8 episodes, so the team now has a clear structure for the story, pacing, and key events.Technical briefs for the prologue cutscenes and backgrounds have also been prepared, and script work on the first episode is already underway.There has been progress on the art and animation side as well. Liberty, Veil, and Dina are now fully animated, with idle animations and emotional expressions ready for each of them. This is an important step toward making the characters feel alive not only in scenes, but also during regular gameplay moments.In addition, emotional expressions have already been drawn for the next set of characters, including the Headmistress, Mishka, Scarlet, and others. These assets are now ready for further animation. Overall, June was a month of building a solid foundation for future development: we finalized the story structure, prepared key materials for the prologue, made progress on the characters, and set up the technical base for the mechanics.And one more important piece of news: we’ve reached 70,000 wishlists! Thank you to everyone who supports SUPERS and follows the project.   SUPERS Devlog #1 Prologue, Social Media, and the First Heroines

  Hi everyone! Welcome to our first SUPERS devlog. The prologue is already written. There, players will see the old superhero team in their prime.The scene takes place in the previous century with heroes in retro costumes saving the city during a catastrophic volcanic eruption. In the prologue, we will show how the supers work as a team, how their powers are used in combat, and what kind of price even the most experienced heroes sometimes have to pay for their decisions.Metida and Anachron will get special attention. Metida coordinates the team and reads the minds of its members, while Anachron stays on the front line and uses his power to control time.Social mediaSocial media will play an important role in SUPERS.Players will be able to make posts, comment on other characters’ publications, and react to events. The main character’s popularity will grow depending on posts, comments, and story choices.FollowersPopularity can be used throughout the story, in relationships with the heroines, and on certain special occasions.Heroes will also have rankings, post statistics, and followers, likes, and views growth dynamics.The First HeroesIn this devlog, we are showing three characters: Mishka, Veil, and Onix.Mishka is a strong athlete and berserker. Her abilities are built around physical power and an aggressive fighting style.Veil is a hero with invisibility. Her power will be used both in story scenes and in situations with a more comedic or awkward tone.Onix is a darker hero with her own detective storyline. Her story is connected to a murder investigation, family legacy, and heroes from the old times.Superpowers in combatWe are working to make each character’s abilities feel different.Each hero will have their own approach: brute force, control, stealth, support, or unusual uses of superpowers. In combat scenes, abilities will affect the characters’ actions, the flow of events, and the visual dynamics. And in the hotter scenes... You will have to judge for yourselves!Ri...
