Content notice: The game is told from the perspective of a serial killer and features scenes of murder as well as several acts of sex and several scenes with nudity. For the scenes of murder, it is not glorified and they are demonized, and it is made very clear that the protagonist is in the wrong. Additionally, these scenes are optional and the player is given the choice to participate in them. Any participation in them leads to "bad endings". There is zero sexual violence or rape in this game and all sexual acts within it are presented as consensual.

The Boston Breeder is a choice-driven Adult Visual Novel with multiple endings where you play as a serial killer obsessed with the balance of life and death. For years, you've been dormant but due to a copycat killer, you'll be thrust into a mystery filled with lots of romance and lots of sex.

Play as a serial killer!
In this visual novel, you become Victor van der Velde, better known as the Blood Angel Killer, and make the choices which determine his fate. Victor is the son of a South African gold mine owner and his Russian emigre wife who moved to Boston in his childhood, after riots forced the family out of their home nation. Life has been cruel to Victor, so you get to choose if you want him to be cruel back. Perhaps that's as simple as making Victor cheat on his wife or maybe it's having him sire children outside of his marriage? Or maybe it's something more sinister?
As a young man, Victor resorted you hunted men and women, killing them and turning them into artistic grotesqueries, becoming the infamous Blood Angel Killer. That was a life which he once gave up.
Choose his destiny!
After all, in his middle age as a married father of two beautiful children, he thought that his days of killing werelong gone... but are they? You get to choose whether Victor becomes a murderer again, preying on the men and women of Boston or if he tries his best to keep his hands clean?
After all, whatever you choose, Victor has much to atone for - he has a whole balance to restore. And what better way to restore that balance than to have him and his mistresses breed?
Unlock all the endings!
But it won't be easy... can you keep Victor good and succeed? Or will you make him bleed? Whatever you decide, you get to go back and keep deciding as there are many choices and multiple paths to take, all leading to a variety of different endings.

So, it turns out that the previous patch did not address the heart of the matter.What was happening is that the depots for which I was storing review versions of the game were actually overriding the public versions of the game depending on the user. So this was a fairly complicated problem with a more straightforward fix than I'd have thought. Hey everyone, so I've been getting a lot of positive messages about the game and I just want to thank everyone about that. However, something I've noticed is that only 0.2% of players have gotten achievements. That means about 10 at most out the nearly thousand units we've sold are registering achievements and logical assumption says that about half of those are by some script that people run to get all achievements.Now, looking in the .rpy files of this game, there was nothing that indicated the game had issues with achievements. However, I have added extra safeguards into them and updated Ren'py because apparently the latest version of the engine's compiled .rpyc files are more compatible with Steam. So, hopefully this solves the syncing error. If it doesn't, there's more I can do but hopefully this figures it out.Read full article on Community Announcements (LostWorks)
