About this game

DELIVER SKETCHY CARGO

After a wild night in paradise, you and your friends wake up on a remote island owned by a cartel. To start your lives anew, you must take to the skies and fly questionable missions for your new “employers”. Take contracts, stack cargo, and deliver it across a vast tropical archipelago.

COOPERATIVE SMUGGLING

If you’re going to take shady smuggling flights, you might as well do it with friends, right? Experience the life of a cartel pilot in co-op. Just don’t forget to grab a crate of cold beer before the next mission.

PREPARE AND MAINTAIN YOUR PLANES

Get your hands dirty in the hangar to ensure your planes stay airborne and reliable. Yes, it’s a chill smuggler life on these islands, but a well-maintained plane is your only way home.

STYLE IN THE SKIES, STYLE ON LAND

Express your style by customizing both your pilot and your aircraft. Choose from a variety of outfits and design custom liveries for your planes. If you’re going to be the most wanted pilots in the region, you might as well look good doing it.

TROPICAL ARCHIPELAGO AWAITS

Explore a vast world of sun-drenched islands and breathtaking ocean views. Navigate through clear skies or prepare to show your piloting skills when violent tropical storms hit the area.

    🛩️ Every Bolt Can Break

Yo, pilots! Welcome back to the second Cartel Pilots Devs Diary ✌️Last time we showed you the islands. This time we're letting you break things onthem — and we finally taught the game to explain what's going on before you planta wing in a palm tree.🎓 Your First Flight, HandheldThe intro is fully reworked. The game now walks you through the entire first run:meeting your first client, loading the crates, taking off, landing on the islandnext door. Prompts, explainer cards, a direction arrow and a compass — nobody getsdropped into a cockpit and left guessing. And yes, there's a dedicated "what if I crash" branch. Instead of leaving youstranded in the jungle, the game either teaches you to patch the plane up on thespot, or recovers you and puts you back in play. 💼 Clients, Cargo and Grey AreasClients are split into three groups now: civilian traders, the cartel, and anunderground fence. Legal cargo is accepted by everyone, contraband only by thefence — so a "grey" run became a choice you make, not an accident you stumble into.Jobs also stopped bouncing you between the same two neighbouring islands. We drewup a proper trade map of the archipelago — who produces what, who needs it — soroutes now add up into chains that actually make sense. On top of that: flavourlines from clients depending on what you're hauling, a job selection window, and adialogue for the fence. There's also a cash ceiling now. Anything above the limit has to go to the bank oryou risk losing it in a crash — and the moneybag is a physical object you can carryaround and drop 💰 🏝️ A Bigger, Busier ArchipelagoOne brand-new island, plus a rework of several old ones: terrain, runways, dressing, borders. We built a motel and a fuel hangar, and gave the village a fullpass.New locals moved in, properly dressed for the job: a cartel trader, an aircraftdealer, a treasure hunter. The ocean came alive too — five types of vessels running their own routes, jumpingdolphins, and flocks of seagulls minding their own busine...

🛩️Tropical Storms, Booze, and Bad Decisions

Yo, pilots! Welcome to the very first Cartel Pilots Devs Diary! ✌️Grab a drink, sit back, and let’s talk about what we’ve been cooking up in the lab. We’ve been working hard to make this tropical smuggling paradise feel alive, and today we’re showing you exactly what’s going down. Let’s get right into it! 👇 🌴Building the PlaygroundWe’re putting the finishing touches on our tropical archipelago. Think hidden dirt runways, dense jungle vegetation, sketchy coastal buildings, and plenty of Points of Interest to explore 🌩️Dynamic Weather: Moving StormsWe didn’t just want to make the screen dark when it rains. Nope. Wind and turbulence are hardwired directly into the flight model. When you fly through a moving storm, your plane will actually get tossed around like a toy 🌊Ocean Upgrades & SwimmingThe ocean got a massive glow-up. We’ve implemented a brand-new water material with realistic shore foam, a proper horizon line, and squashed those annoying blur artifacts and also you can now swim! 🗺️The Tablet MapNeed to check your drop zone? Just hit a button to pull out your tablet map. It works on foot and right in the cockpit. The best part? While you’re checking the map in the air, the plane actually holds its heading ✈️Pick Your Poison Control SchemesEveryone flies differently, so at the first launch, you’ll get to choose your input device and piloting style. Go full Direct for the hardcore feel, or turn on Assisted if you just want to chill and focus on the smuggling🍹 Loot, Booze, and Bad HabitsWhat’s a cartel game without the perks? We’re fleshing out the loot and consumables. You’ll be grabbing cash, hidden treasures, repair kits, and... party supplies 🥃🚬👾Saves & Failing MiserablyThings go wrong in the cartel business. We’re currently field-testing our save systems and fail-states, we’re making sure getting back into the action is smooth and painless So, what do you think of our first devs diary?! Drop a comment, let us know what you want to see next, and stay out of tro...
