About this game

Stack blocks. Build a deck. Bend the rules.

Kubb is a roguelike block-stacking game where every run writes its own story. It starts simple — familiar shapes, familiar rules. Then the game starts talking back.

YOUR DECK, YOUR STRATEGY

Every few levels, you pick a new card. Some blocks destroy. Some blocks protect. Some blocks change everything. Your deck grows with you, and the blocks you choose define how you play. Stack aggressively with destructors that shatter the board on impact, or play it safe with passive relics that multiply your score while they survive. The slot machine doesn't care about your plans — it has its own.

DISASTERS DON'T ASK PERMISSION

One moment you're clearing rows. The next, a snowstorm is burying your columns, a parasite is eating your best card from the inside, or something is making everything faster. Disasters arrive uninvited and stay until you deal with them. Some you can cure. Some you can only endure.

DIMENSIONS BREAK THE RULES

Step into a portal and gravity flips. Or the board shrinks. Or your blocks turn invisible. Or the sand starts shifting. Dimensions are high-risk detours — survive and come back stronger, fail and lose it all. Eighteen different ways the game says "what if?"

ONE MORE RUN

Every game over teaches you something. Every new card changes what's possible. Achievements unlock new blocks. New blocks unlock new strategies. New strategies unlock new ways to spectacularly, beautifully collapse.

Keyboard & gamepad. 14 languages. A soundtrack that accelerates with you.

Watch. Evolve. Collapse.

    Our first month, thank you

It's been almost a month since KUBB launched. Thank you to everyone who bought it, played it, and lost a night chasing a high score. For a small team, that means a lot. Throughout the month we read every piece of feedback you sent by email, by message, and in person, and we improved the game with it. Most of it shipped quietly, as small updates. Here's the full picture: CONTROLS - A second rotate button: counter-clockwise rotation is on Z and LB, and RB also rotates clockwise. All rebindable. - Fixed: rebinding the A button to another action on a controller removed the menu confirm button. Affected saves repair themselves. - The Inverted Dimension now has the same lock delay and ground rotation as the normal board. DIMENSIONS - Fixed: the Inverted Dimension could end early with the board nearly empty. - Fixed: the game could freeze in the Spiral Dimension when fire reached a spore colony. - Fixed: the Four Horsemen never arrived inside the Scrapyard Dimension. There is no escape now. VISUALS AND INTERFACE - The shockwave now spreads as an expanding wave instead of a beam, destroying cells as the wave reaches them. - The speed at which fire burns through a spore colony now scales with game speed. - Tutorial frames wrap their content correctly at every resolution. - Deck info cards no longer overflow when augments make their text longer. - Horseman card frames and text now fit the card in every language. BALANCE AND FIXES - Destructor spawn rates slightly reduced; disasters increased across all levels. - Fixed: a spore colony growing near the edge of the board could end a run unfairly. - The best score on the main menu now shows only your own personal record. In the coming days, new members will join the block family. Keep following us, and don't hesitate to write what you think, we read it. Sleepless Wizards

    KUBB Demo Update — v0.9.6.1

KUBB Demo Update — v0.9.6.1 Thank you for all the reports — every single one of these came from your feedback: The NEW RECORD! line on the game over screen is now actually visible (celebration gold instead of near-black) Fixed rare freezes (after big bomb blasts, and rapid drops in the Desert dimension) — and the game now recovers on its own if anything ever hiccups The spore colony can no longer swallow fire, acid or ticking bomb cells while healing or spreading Early picks now focus on NEW cards: upgrades join the offers from level 3, augments from level 5 Movement animations (snake, shark, arrow, bounce) now speed up with the game at higher levels Desert dimension: blocks now lock the moment they touch down — no more wind shoving a settled piece around Keep the feedback coming — we read every line. ❤️ — Sleepless Wizards
