About this game

Whether you’re a fan of survival horror or not, you will feel right at home in the nightmare.

Wander through strange, hauntingly beautiful environments that will captivate and unsettle you.

With fixed-camera angles and HD pre-rendered backgrounds, you move using the keyboard while interacting with objects and monsters through the mouse.

WITH MODERN AND TANK CONTROL!

  • Only 10 saves (depend on the selected difficulty)

  • One hour and a half on the clock (depend on the selected difficulty)

  • Random events to disturb you.

  • Monsters move through rooms,  and they learn from you.

Fight back with a range of weapons, each with different effects,

but remember: you will never have enough resources to face every threat.

Running and hiding are not just options… they may be your only chance.

Descend into a house collapsing into a strange dimension, swallowed by an endless white void.

What will remain once the house is consumed?

What will be left of you? Hunt for keys. Solve puzzles. Find your way out of this nightmare. But beware: obstacles decay with time, paths collapse, and the void draws closer.  Adapt. Change direction.

The way you knew may no longer exist.

Does the void scare you? Does the thought of nothingness terrify you?

I have trapped you inside my house far away, where no one, not even a divine force, can save you.

You are lost in an eternal, empty dimension. The key I seek is in your hands. I know it. Give it to me.

Like you, I want to leave this house. I have waited for this moment for so long...

I want to devour even more people like you. I want my children to infest your bodies, for my hollow stomach to be filled with your flesh.

You survived my monsters, my traps, my riddles… and yet you still stand before me.  Less than an hour remains before this house crumbles into the void.

My preparations are complete. I must leave.

Hand it over me.

You are trapped in a house surrounded by an eternal void.

But you are not the only thing trapped and wishing to escape from here, no... Something is after you, you and your "key" to get out.

    Development Update

Hello everyone! The demo release is going to be slightly delayed. I literally only have TWO more rooms left to create in the game, and then I just need to briefly connect them to the story. After that, the demo will finally be ready!I’m slow with development, but I’ve never been this close to the finish line.Tank ControlsTank control is now fully integrated into the game, and you’ll be able to switch between modern control and tank control! I know this might sound surprising to some of you, there were actually no tank control until now.Options MenuThe options menu has been completely redesigned to match the game’s visual style. This isn’t a major update, but I mainly wanted to give you a sign that development is still actively moving forward.THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND PATIENCE

About the Game and the Demo

Hello to everyone interested in my game!I wanted to give you an update on the development of the game and talk a bit about what I’m currently planning for both now and the future.Demo ProgressCornered Cadavers is my first game on Steam. I’ve been developing it for about a year now, and at the moment I’m mainly improving the level design to create a smoother and less frustrating experience. There are still many things that need improvement, such as the combat animations and some of the cutscenes. The demo will be released either in a few weeks or later on right now I’m still figuring out the best way to conclude it properly. The game itself will be very short. You’ll explore four floors of a house, and in the demo, B1, 1F, and 2F will be accessible. The 3rd floor will be slightly longer than the others and will reveal more details about the story.Plans for the FutureI’ve decided to make the game free because I wasn’t sure anyone would buy such a short game. After this project, I’m thinking about either making a direct sequel or creating a fantasy survival horror game with magic. They would probably cost between 1 and 4$, or maybe even be free, honestly I have no idea yet. Both projects would most likely stay relatively short, since that allows me to keep development time manageable. I hope you’ll understand. But for now, don’t take this last part too seriously these are just ideas currently on my mind, nothing concrete yet.
