League Schedules Updated for the 26/27 Season and Cup Mode Now Available

Dear Arcade World Cups players, I would like to let you know that the real schedules for the 26/27 season leagues are now available. I've taken advantage of this update to enable Cup Mode in beta, so South American club cups can now be played. For the European cups, we'll have to wait until the matchups are drawn at the end of August. Now you can find the option to play the 2026 World Cup inside the cup mode. Beyond the new and updated competitions available, in the friendly match section, we can now choose all the newly added teams, which are more than 60. I hope you enjoy the update and I'll be keeping an eye out for any feedback. Let's play!

League Mode Beta and Improved Controller Compatibility

Hello! First of all, I want to share that I am incredibly happy with the release of Arcade World Cups. It's only been a few days since launch, but it has been deeply rewarding—not just for the sales, but for all the feedback I’ve received. This is my first published game, I am a self-taught developer, and seeing such positive impressions across different platforms fills me with satisfaction. I truly appreciate every single message. The purpose of this announcement isn't just to say thank you, but also to accompany the beta phase launch of the League Mode. Right when we all have our minds completely on the World Cup 😆. The plan is to officially launch it in August, but since I haven't run into any issues during testing, I thought it would be a great idea to let you enjoy it right away and let me know if you find any bugs. You’ll be able to play the Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, and Argentine leagues. For the European leagues, the schedule matches the season that just ended, but as soon as the new fixtures are drawn, they will be updated to reflect the 26/27 season. In the case of the Argentine League, it features the current Torneo Clausura schedule, since it’s already known. I also felt it was necessary to improve some AI defensive behaviors and match simulations to make them more balanced. On another note, I noticed there were some controller compatibility issues, something I hadn't experienced at all during development. That has now been fixed, and I hope to see Steam officially displaying full controller support very soon. I hope you enjoy this new mode, and please let me know if you have any issues or suggestions. Thank you very much!

    Today is the big day!

Hello everyone! Launch day is finally here. So much learning, so many hours of designing, testing, programming... and many sleepless nights after waking up in the middle of the night. The greatest satisfaction is setting a goal and achieving it right on time. A scaled-down version that grew massive I couldn't have imagined this back when I was messing around with Pico-8 and wondered what a Tehkan World Cup demake would look like. I built the prototype in Godot, and it evolved into a version for both mobile and PC. Not only that: it became my very first published game. My ambition only went as far as recreating the classic mode, but it was my son Juan who suggested adding the World Cup along with different leagues and cups. And he didn't just suggest it: he took charge of the database and drew every single crest and flag in the game. We arrived just in time to catch the World Cup fever, which is about to begin. What's next I have a first free update planned for August featuring the League Mode, but it's already finished and we are currently testing it. I will soon enable access to the League Mode in its beta phase, so we can all test it together. The Argentine league is available with the fixture schedule for the tournament starting in the second half of the year, alongside the Spanish, English, German, Italian, and French leagues with the real fixtures of the season that just ended. As soon as the new schedule becomes available, we will update it so you can play the upcoming season. If you find any bugs, have suggestions, or want to share your feedback, please feel free to use any of our channels. Thank you for joining this adventure, and see you on the pitch!
