About the Game

"The Audit of a Human Soul."

Fragments of a "Success Story" Alex is a "top performer" in Silicon Valley. But on this night in December 2025, his world is fracturing. Between a brutal new visa policy and a sudden tragedy across the ocean, the "American Dream" has suddenly become an extortionate trap.

Gameplay Features

  • Break the Mask (DEF): Alex survives by being defensive. Navigate his logical fallacies and corporate jargon to find the raw grief hidden beneath.

  • Psychological Stakes: Manage his HP (Communication) and SAN (Sanity). One wrong word could end the conversation prematurely, leaving the truth buried forever.

  • Environmental Narrative: Scour a high-fidelity digital grave of a life built on expectations. Investigate WeChat logs, cold HR emails, and the artifacts of an isolated existence to unlock critical dialogue paths.

The Impossible Choice There are no winners here. Will you guide him to protect the "Investment" his parents died for, or encourage him to abandon everything for a final goodbye? In this 20-minute countdown, every choice carries a heavy, unpayable bill.

20 minutes left. Don't waste them.

Developer’s Note: Why I Made Unreachable

Hi everyone,I’m the solo developer of Unreachable. This is the first game I’ve ever made. Before I started making games, I studied psychology. During my years studying and living in the United States, I met — and heard many stories about — international students and immigrants trying to build a life far away from home. Many of them seemed successful from the outside.Good schools.Good jobs.A promising future.Yet behind all of that were things that were much harder to see: family expectations, immigration uncertainty, grief, loneliness, and the quiet feeling that no matter what choice they made, someone would end up getting hurt. Those stories stayed with me for a long time.Eventually, they became Unreachable. Why use AI?I’ve seen some people ask why the game relies on AI conversations. For me, AI isn’t the point of the game. It’s simply the tool that allows conversations to feel less constrained than traditional dialogue trees.Real conversations don’t happen by choosing between four dialogue options.Sometimes you don’t know the right thing to say.Sometimes there isn’t a right thing to say at all. That’s the experience I wanted to create.About AlexAlex isn’t meant to be a hero.He hesitates. He avoids difficult conversations. He tells people he’s “fine” when he clearly isn’t.Some players may find him frustrating, and that’s completely understandable. My hope isn’t that everyone agrees with him. It’s that, by the end of the game, players might better understand why someone can become trapped in a situation where every option feels like losing something important.Thank youAs a first-time solo developer, I know there are still many things that can be improved.I’ve been reading every piece of feedback—positive or negative—and I genuinely appreciate everyone who has taken the time to play the game.Whether you enjoyed it or not, thank you for giving Unreachable a chance.I hope the game encourages a little more empathy for people who keep saying,“I’m fine.”even when they aren’t.

Development Update – Thank You for Your Patience

Hello everyone!First of all, thank you so much for your support. Seeing people wishlist Unreachable and share the game has meant a lot to me.For anyone who has just discovered the game:Unreachable is a short psychological narrative experience where you play as an online counselor. Through natural conversations powered by AI, you'll gradually uncover the story of a young man, an immigrate who insists that he's "fine."Every conversation can unfold differently, but every choice brings you closer to understanding what he's hiding.About the Release DelayThe game was originally scheduled to release on June 23.Unfortunately, the game is still undergoing Steam's final build review. The review has taken much longer than expected, so the release has been delayed through no fault of players. The game itself is complete, and I'm currently waiting for Steam's review to be finished. As soon as the review is approved, I'll release the game immediately.Thank you all for your patience and support. I can't wait for everyone to finally experience Unreachable.
