This game is a sequel to Laments of a Platinum Rose, and should be played after completing that game.
You are Jane Perdita. Once the Queen of a psuedo-monarchy built on a visceral desire for Progress, now abdicated by the merciless hand of Progress.

Demo now available!
"Laments of a Valiant Rose" Free Demo now available!This game is a sequel to "Laments of a Platinum Rose" and should be played after completing that game.We are so excited to finally share this demo with you all! This demo will be about 1/5th of the game in terms of content. The download size is just shy of 600 MB. For the time being this demo exists solely by itself, but the full game will include compatibility with Achievements, Cloud Saves, and we're hoping tested compatibility with Steam Deck (although you can try it, it just isn't tested for it yet)\Laments of a Valiant Rose to just Valiant Rose. Same things with Platinum Rose.]The demo is also available on itch.io ... But the Steam version is newer and better, so, you probably should just download that one. The full game will release on both platforms, just like Platinum Rose did, although the Steam version is the recommended version for its compatibility with Steam's library of unique features (like cloud saves.)For detailed instructions on downloading the demo, see the below graphic.Also, and don't tell NoruMeep I told you this, but when Valiant Rose's full version releases, I'm also cooking up a 1.2 update for Platinum Rose.
