About this game

Every journey begins the same.

A zombie outbreak has devastated the world. You leave your home and set out for the Port, hoping to board the last evacuation ship.

But everything that happens along the way is different.

Random event cards constantly reshape your adventure. You may rescue a stranger, fall into an ambush, discover precious supplies, or find yourself trapped by a single bad decision.

Every playthrough tells a new story.

Choice

There are no easy answers at the end of the world.

Will you share your last supplies with a complete stranger?

Will you risk your life to protect someone being bullied by raiders?

Will you abandon a badly wounded companion to save food and water?

Every choice changes the course of your story and ultimately your fate.

Resources

Water, food, medicine, and ammunition are all desperately scarce. Even a good night’s sleep or a moment of entertainment becomes a luxury.

Carefully manage every resource you can find, maintain your health, and keep your mood up.

Sometimes, people don't die because the enemy is stronger.

They die from exhaustion and despair.

Team

Throughout your journey, you’ll meet new survivors, each with randomly generated attributes and skills.

Build your team wisely and make the most of everyone’s strengths if you hope to survive.

Every playthrough brings different companions, and together you'll forge your own story through the apocalypse.

Equipment

Trade with merchants, scavenge fallen enemies, repair damaged gear, and upgrade your weapons and armor to face ever greater dangers.

In the apocalypse, quality equipment is hard to come by.

Sometimes, an ordinary shovel is all that stands between you and death.

Combat

Unlike traditional card battles, the Card Distance system gives weapon range real tactical significance.

The Entanglement system allows melee weapons to truly shine, making knives far more dangerous than machine guns once combat enters the Entangled State.

Combine each weapon's strengths with smart positioning to develop tactics that are uniquely your own.

Customize the Rules

Reduced shooting accuracy at night?

Food spoils over time?

Gunfire attracts zombies?

…

Customize the survival rules of the apocalypse and create the challenge you want to face.

It All Started as a Tabletop Experiment

This game began as a simple tabletop experiment.

I wanted to find out whether a deck of random event cards could create a different story every time it was played. The results exceeded my expectations. Compared with traditional RPGs built around a fixed storyline, the unpredictability of completely random adventures created a far more memorable experience.

After years of refining that idea, it eventually became Tabletop Survivors.

Every journey is different.

Every choice matters.

Every playthrough tells a new story.

    Demo update v0.2.0

Hey everyone! This update adds plenty of new content to the game, including special weapons and ammo types. Here are the details:1. Shock Gun (Taser)A non-lethal weapon that deals minimal damage but stuns the target for 2 turns.2. Poison Arrow / BoltThe crafting recipe can be found in Hunting magazine (requires skill: Medical 3). Striking a target inflicts poison, causing them to lose 10% HP per turn (ineffective against zombies).3. Dragon's BreathSpecial ammunition for shotguns. It targets a single enemy and sets them on fire upon impact, rendering them unable to act, dealing 10–30 HP damage per turn, and severely damaging their armor.4. Jacketed Hollow-Point Rounds (JHP)Available Calibers: 9mm, .45, .357, 5.56mm, 7.62mmOffers higher damage and stopping power but weaker armor penetration. Perfect for dealing with low-armor targets (like zombies).5. Armor-Piercing Rounds (AP)Available Calibers: 9mm, .45, .357, 5.56mm, 7.62mmDoubles armor penetration at the cost of a slight reduction in raw damage. Ideal for cracking high-armor targets.6. Subsonic RoundsAvailable Calibers: 9mm, .45, .357A low-velocity ammunition. While it sacrifices some damage and armor penetration, it significantly reduces muzzle noise, helping you avoid attracting more zombies.Developer Note: These new special weapons and ammo types add a whole new layer of strategic depth. Utilizing them wisely will give you a significant tactical advantage!Improvements & AdjustmentsBased on your valuable feedback from the playtest, this update introduces the following improvements and adjustments:Optimized Enemy Targeting Algorithm. Enemies will now dynamically evaluate distance, hit chance, armor, and potential damage to select the optimal target.Crafting a basic Water Filter Bottle no longer requires the Survival skill. You can now craft weapon parts from materials (requires skill: Craft 5), easing the pressure of firearm maintenance in the late game.Text in the feedback log now uses color highlighting to diffe...
