About this game

Paws & Shine: Design and Decorate!
You're the traveling decorator of a world full of cats. When the phone rings in your little house in town, a new space on a faraway island is waiting for your touch. Pick up the phone, hit the road, unload the box; the rest is entirely up to you.
Make Every Space Feel Like Home
Every island is a new space, every box a fresh start. Nobody tells you where the furniture goes; remove what you don't like, try whatever you want.
• Open the box and place items however you like; no timers, no failure, no wrong answers
• Every placement earns you money; leave not when the job is done, but when it feels right
• Changed your mind? Move the item or return it for a full refund; you lose nothing.

Build Your Own Home
Everything you earn on the islands flows back into your own home.
• Furnish your own house piece by piece with the money you earn
• Every island you visit sends a small keepsake back home; over time, your house becomes a map of everywhere you've been
• Your town lives on your real-world clock: the sun rises with you, windows light up as it gets dark, the street keeps flowing all day
Capture the Moment
When a corner turns out exactly the way you wanted, don't let that moment slip away.
• Save your favorite arrangements with the in-game photo mode, and share them if you like
Your town lives the same day you do: play in the morning and you'll meet the joggers, play at night and the windows will be glowing. The town takes it slow; so can you.

Development Update #1: The Town Comes Alive (and What's Next)
Hello everyone! Welcome to the first development update for Paws & Shine. I'd like to make these a habit: every few weeks, a look at what's new, what I'm working on, and where the game is heading. This one ends with the roadmap, including the feature I care about most, so do read to the end. IF YOU'RE NEW HEREPaws & Shine is a cozy decorating sim set in a world of cats. The phone rings in your little house: somewhere, a place needs your touch. You travel to a sunny island and furnish the spaces cats live and gather in: a home on one island, a little bar on another, maybe a seaside restaurant on the next. No timers, no failure, no wrong answers. Every placement earns you coins, and back home you spend them making your own place truly yours. WHAT WE'VE BUILT SO FARThe game has grown a lot since this page went up in spring. A quick, honest recap. The decorating heart of the game:The unboxing ritual. A cardboard box thumps down with a soft squash and a puff of dust. Click it open and furnish the space piece by piece; every item that comes out is a small surprise.Placement that never argues with you. A warm cream glow shows where things fit, wall pieces snap gently into place, and nothing rushes you.Changed your mind? Move anything, anytime. Refunds always give back every coin. There is no wrong way to decorate.A quiet wallet. Every placement earns coins, but there are no flying numbers and no score screens. The real reward is watching the space come together.Your own home:A home of your own. Everything you place there is saved and waiting for you next time: your house, your rules, your pace. The shop. Spend your earnings on furniture for your own place, take it in hand, and find it a spot.Memory items. Every island you help leaves you a small keepsake that settles onto a shelf back home. Slowly, your house becomes a map of everywhere you've been. The phone. Work arrives the old-fashioned way: the phone rings and hops on the table. Answer it to take the job, or let it rest;...Read full article on Community Announcements (Loriage)
