Featured in Frosty Games Fest & help me out with Steam Next Fest
Hey everyone,Frosty Games Fest!I wanted to give a shoutout and thanks to Team Frosty who featured Sting & Swing in the Frosty Games Fest for 2026! The festival this year had an awesome lineup of games from developers across Australia and New Zealand and I was honoured to be included. This featuring also got the game into the Steam Summer Showcase of Showcases which spread the game much further than my short reach ever could. Many thanks to all involved, and go checkout the other upcoming games from this side of the world!Share the demo for Steam Next Fest!To help the game in the currently ongoing Steam Next Fest, share the demo with the most deviously astute person you know!Thank you to players from around the world! Thanks to all who continue to share and support the game, it brings a smile to my face every time to see your reactions in play throughs and your kind words in reviews. It is especially surreal to me that my little game has been played by people around the world! The hard work continues but I hope to share more information and sneakpeaks in time.Stay curious,MrCheeseAndPie The deepest puzzles continue...Read full article on Community Announcements (MrCheeseAndPie)Patch NotesOfficial

Featured music on Game Jams radio & in Cerebral Puzzle Showcase!! and... ARG?!
Hey everyone,Quick update. Three things:Sting & Swing music on radioI wanted to thank Matt Schenkel for featuring me on Game Jams radio on May 28th (a show dedicated to indie game music, check it out it's awesome!). There's a few tracks everyone will recognise from the demo and trailers but also a new ambient track I shared exclusively for the show. Check it out if any of that sounds interesting.Game Jams radio (tune in at timestamp 4: 57: 15 for S&S): https://www.pbsfm.org.au/program/game-jams/2026-05-28/02-00-00Cerebral Puzzle Showcase featuring!Sting & Swing has been included in the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase alongside an amazing lineup this year!COMMUNITY COLLABORATION REQUIRED!And what better way to commemorate featuring in Cerebral Puzzle Showcase than to handcraft a new puzzle for the community... and so the first 5 people to solve the puzzle (revealed just now on BlueSky) will get a free copy of the game at launch. Tell your friends and get involved, these puzzles may take some community collaboration to solve... Know that there's more of those coming very soon, and happy solving!Stay curious,MrCheeseAndPieRead full article on Community Announcements (MrCheeseAndPie)AnnouncementsOfficial
The Game Begins...
Where to begin? Let’s start with ~THANK YOU!After the coverage of the demo by FuryForged and the ANZ Indiefest Steam event, I have been simultaneously overjoyed, terrified, anxious, bewildered, gobsmacked, flabbergasted, but mostly just overwhelmed by the response of the community. My little bee golf game garnered a lot more attention than I was expecting for a game of it’s kind. The community has grown, secrets have been discovered, flags have been collected, and sights are set on the next juicy puzzle to solve. Thank you all for that.FuryForged covered my game! Thank you!!And that brings me to the next point. Even though I had followed the tales of secret hunters in other games, I realise now I was woefully unprepared for the dedication of players for Sting & Swing. When I was deciding what to include in the demo I knew I wanted the core gameplay pristinely polished (and I believe I mostly did so), but I figured most demos are treated casually enough that the secrets needn’t be buried too deeply to be safe. I was wrong. The lesson has been learned now. I’m glad I learnt it in the demo so I can apply this lesson for the full release. I will not hold back in future in my secret designing. The secret-hunting community is DEDICATED. They are OBSERVANT. And they need more than a little morse code to satisfy their hungry CURIOSITY-FUELED meat computers. So what’s the status? Good news and bad news. Bad news is the community has devoured the demo content much more thoroughly than I thought they would. Enjoy it as an appetiser. The good news? Well, people have been asking whether everything in the demo has been found and as of writing, I have yet to see one last secret discovered (of the golden hexagonal variety). Wow so that’s it? Just one? Yes and no. Yes the demo is almost 100% completed and I only disclose that with full honesty because I respect people’s time. I admire the dedication of secret-hunters but I don’t want people chasing mirages. But also no that is not the...Read full article on Community Announcements (MrCheeseAndPie)Patch NotesOfficial
