  Build 5.1 Update Notes

  Build 5.1 adds new polish, music, and customization across WXP Project. ​ New: - Added Daily Spin, a new desktop app with an animated prize wheel. - Added Snake and Square Rush pre-game menus. - Added purchasable and equippable color skins for Snake and Square Rush. - Added new loopable music tracks across major apps and games. ​ Improvements: - Reworked Daily Spin into a larger spinning prize wheel with clearer prize sections. - Improved Daily Spin animation so the wheel spins cleanly and lands on the highlighted winning slice. - Updated Snake and Square Rush so players can customize their character color. - Updated music routing so apps and games use more fitting individual tracks. - Improved Square Rush player visuals when using equipped skins. ​- Added a 60 FPS cap to reduce CPU/GPU usage and fan spikes Fixes: - Fixed Daily Spin flashing during spin animation. - Fixed Daily Spin odds so every slice has an equal random chance. - Fixed Daily Spin center logo sizing and label readability. - Fixed Snake and Square Rush starting immediately before players could choose options.

  Build 4.30 Update Notes

  Build 4.30 adds new playable content and continues polishing the WXP Project desktop experience. ​ New Content: - Added Virus Sweeper, a new Minesweeper-style desktop game. - Added Messenger as an old-school email-style application. - Messenger includes local folders, message previews, and scam-style emails. ​ Virus Sweeper: - Added Easy, Normal, and Hard paid scan modes. - Added left-click file reveal controls. - Added right-click flagging for suspected viruses. - Added payouts for clearing a scan. - Added loss consequences when a virus is opened. - Improved the visual style with clearer colors and a darker antivirus look. - Added distinct colors for unopened, flagged, safe, numbered, and infected cells. - Added a tile legend. - Fixed board interaction so clicked cells visibly update. ​ Messenger Improvements: - Local folders now change which emails are displayed. - Message selection now updates the preview pane. - Scam emails now appear throughout the email system. - Removed background music from Messenger. ​ General Improvements: - Improved starter game library presentation. - Updated installed game counts and system check listings. - Improved desktop app content refresh behavior. - Continued polish toward a smoother release build. ​ Thank you for playing WXP Project.

  WXP Project v1.2 Update

  WXP Project v1.2 is now live. ​ This update includes general gameplay polish, smoother desktop interactions, game window cleanup, audio improvements, and fixes from recent testing. ​ Changes: - Improved window behavior and overall desktop feel. - Cleaned up several game windows so content fits better. - Updated game audio and looping behavior. - Removed unfinished experimental game content. - Improved stability for the current launch build. - Added Steam-required launch dependencies through Steamworks so the game installs more reliably. ​ Thank you for playing and testing WXP Project.   WXP Project has received a major release build update.​This patch pushes the desktop sim much closer to the full vision and cleans up a huge amount of the foundation.
