Update 1.4, New Fusion, New Items, Balance

Alright, it’s time for 1.4. This update adds a new fusion unit, some very cool items, and nice balance changes.UI ImprovementsAdded dragging and placement effects to the shop UI.New FusionThe Castle is the largest unit so far. It literally towers over the battle field with long range fire power, huge base states, and an ability that changes how the game is played fundamentally. All benched units are treated as reservist and will be deployed every 3 seconds to combat from the castle. The units deployed this way are temporarily given all the perks that the castle has. This unit will serve as an endgame victory condition for many battalion compositions.Recipe: New ItemsPower Lines: equip a power line weapon which will deal continuous damage to an enemy.Rain Collector: gain 5 regen at the start of turnBroken TV: Transform all units in the draft into another unit of the same tier, excluding fusions. The units from this can be from outside the shop poolSoup: Add a random possible aspect to all units in the draft, will not be a repeat. This should help with getting fusions on some units where you can’t get one with the correct aspect.Ballista Backpack: Equip a portable ballista on the characterTombstone: Destroy all units on the bench and add a Stalker for each unit destroyedInfected Biopod: Absorb all units on the draft and bench. Create a Flesh Blob on the field with experience equal to the combined total of the sacrifices units.Angel Statue: Banish the units in the draft. They appear during every combat from here on out.Campfire: Attacks inflict 5 fireGenerator: Attacks inflict 3 stunToilet: Attacks inflict 5 poisonCandle: Attacks inflict 3 heal block. Heal block prevents all sources of healing. These items feel a bit more dynamic in how they operate, as opposed to simply granting stat boost. BalanceFusionsFusing units now spawns the fusion unit with the average of the experience of the units used.Fusion Recipe for The Wall changed to: knight, knight, concrete mixerFusio...

Endless Mode! Survival Mode! Huge Content Update

Update 1.3 is out! This update has a large amount of changes and features. The highlights are: endless mode is an option after round 18 on standard mode where you fight against ever increasing hordes of units. Survival mode lets you make formations out of units and command them around the map while surviving until the timer runs out. Huge lighting overhaul to help with unit identification.Endless ModeAfter beating round 18 you can start endless mode. The battles in endless are incredibly difficult and plainly unfair. The most broken builds will go far. Expect non standard enemies and some counter builds designed to put a stop to the most busted teams in the game. Survival ModeTake command yourself and pilot your team around the map. You will use WASD to move your formation of units around. Left click and right click will rotate the formation allowing you to adjust on the fly to the threats around you.Create a formation for your units to hold for combat. Units not put in the formation will free roam the map hunting enemies. The auto deploy button will place units with the highest range toward the middle and melee units in the outside.Survive 20 rounds against insane amount of enemies. Enemies spawn much closer and frequent than standard mode. Expect a more active experience in this mode. This mode prioritizes movement and defense more than damage and range, the same builds as standard mode will struggle here. FeaturesAdded shop-tier increase banners to let you know which tier you have availableRanged units now stop advancing when a valid enemy is already within effective rangeMemento Mori and Consumed units now interact with death/revenge related class perks. Craven, chicken, legion and necromancer.Try Again button has been added to the player level screen which will start the run again with the same settingsFull lighting overhaul to help better see units and colors. This should help identify various units and prevent them from blending in with the environment.Balance...

1.2 Difficulty Balance, 3 New Fusion Units, Leading Projectiles

Second patch since release. Let's get to it.BalanceFor standard mode only:Difficulty 1 has had the average combat power halved. This mostly came from reducing the levels of enemies while keeping the composition mostly untouched.Difficulties 2-5 have had similar changes to the above but only to the core groups. The optional challenges have not had much adjustment.Difficulty 6 has not been touched. These changes should help allow players more breathing room to make scaling builds that can pop off instead of getting snubbed out early.New Fusion UnitsForsaken ChampionThis unit is an early fusion which can snowball into a monster late game with it's unique perk which will consume the unit next to it at the start of the turn. This unit not only gains the regular perks of a unit but also their class perks! The Legion LineThe legionnaire fusion has been a favorite of the community. This fusion while strong early could have trouble scaling to late game. Two more legion fusions now exist to give players a strong legion end game. LegionLegion has been slightly change. Now spawns a unit every 2 seconds but only takes 10% longer compounding to summon new units instead of 25%. This should allow for legion to grow an army more regularly instead of making a clump that gets wiped out and can never reform.Mega LegionMega legion operates like legion but spawns legionnaires in squads of 3.Legion PrimeCombing 5 mega legions creates the Legion Prime. Its weapon is an area wide nuke dealing thousands of damage. Units defeated by Legion Prime become legionaries. This unit is designed to give legion builds an end game capstone.New Mechanic: Leading ShotsUnits with over 100 accuracy will now lead non hitscan projectiles so that they aim at where they predict the opponent will be instead of where they are. This makes many characters like the bowman much stronger with investment and reduces the need to make magnet mandatory Bug FixesIssue with cravens revive triggering death and slay abilities ...
