Welcome back to the world of Hypnagogia- a place wherein unusual things lurk between dreams, nightmares, and the spaces unseen...
After the events of the very first Hypnagogia game, but before the tale of the Dreamer in Boundless Dreams, a foreboding and mysterious torrent had been bubbling beneath the surface.
Gogi, the dream guardian, has awoken from his slumber and called upon once again to help get to the bottom of it. Dark and troubling forces manifesting within the dreamscape have caused the God Mirror to fracture, causing a nuclear-level communications disruption and has left all dream worlds completely isolated.
Evil, corrupted energy has now begun swirling, infecting and warping many of the different worlds. It's up to Gogi to scour each and find the source of the corruption all while keeping his own sanity intact.
Explore, platform, and puzzle-solve your way through a ravaged, rodent-run city, a blood-filled underworld crypt, a soothing frozen hotspring, and more.
All new mechanics: swim underwater and avoid draining your dream sanity as you navigate a handful of vibrant and colorful dream worlds.
Pull levers, climb ladders, grab/stack/throw objects, and interact with your environment like you never have before in any previous Hypnagogia game.

Nextfest demo conclusion and future development
Hi all~Bit of a late post here, but just wanted to quickly thank everyone who checked out the demo for Hypnagogia: Broken Dreams and took the time to leave some feedback! I've read through every discussion board message and google form submission and there's some great stuff in there. A LOT of it I didn't even think of while developing the demo! You've made yourselves heard, and you can be sure you will see much of that reflected in the final game. I'm very grateful to all of you!That being said, the demo that was up for Nextfest has been temporarily discontinued. This is to ensure I give myself enough time and bandwidth to work on implementing all the feedback I received. It's going to get very busy over the next several months, so I just want to avoid micromanaging an ongoing demo and collecting additional, possibly redundant feedback while also balancing active development. You can expect a new, updated Steam demo in the near future.I'm very excited to continue work on the game, and have many plans for new characters, story beats, and cool dream worlds (along with some nightmare ones, iykyk......)! Not to mention many additional custom tracks created exclusively for the game headed by Bassclefff, who I've worked with in the past with other projects and who did the demo music!
