1.10 Released!
1.1.0 Released!Sorry for the radio silence there, I have been busy with life! But I wanted to come back and make some meaningful improvements to the game. So 1.1.0 represents a pretty big change, now every monster has something special it does, which was my ultimate goal. Some of the changes are there to directly address things players told me were issues, like Rats being useless and Orcs not feeling like they are really dangerous at all. But I can say that has changed! In fact, Orcs may be too strong, I want some feedback on that! Either way, I want to say thank you to everyone who picked the game up and even more so for those that gave me some feedback so I can try and make the game better! I would also like to share that I hit recovery on the game as far as cost goes, so all the money I put in, I got back, but not much more than that. So, that means I am planning to keep making hobby games as I have the time :) Thank you all so much for the support! Additions:Ghosts now go transparent when they should first be hit and stay transparent for .25 seconds, taking no damage during that timeRats no longer attack hero characters, they steal XP :) Orcs now charge at a hero after taking their first instance of damage, and/or after 3 seconds, and are invulnerable during the build up and chargeGhost upgrades to increase the duration of the transparent effect.Starting level upgrade in the upgrades panel - start with +1-5 levelsExtra blood orbs at the end of a round upgrade in the upgrades panel - each level gives 10% more, max 5 levels. Fungi are now immune to poison-10% MP cost upgrades for ALL monsters, 5 levels, for a total of 50% reduction in cost. Changed:Wording on challenges to make it more clear what they need to achieve. Performance Fixes:Label pooling for the damage pop-upsProjectile pooling for hero projectiles - should increase performance with high amounts of heroesTargeting changes to reduce frequency of checks for new targets for projectiles - should see a dece...Read full article on Community Announcements (Holiver Studios)Patch NotesOfficial
1.0.2 Hotfix!
I had a few players point out that after the last update after a match finished the game switched to a demo version. And I can confirm that it was doing that. The difference between the demo version and the main, other than a few upgrades is a simple checkbox I use to automatically restrict things for the demo. I left it checked when I pushed out the last update. But that should be fixed now! Enjoy!Read full article on Community Announcements (Holiver Studios)Patch NotesOfficial
Post Release Updates! Version 1.0.2
First Update! Release week is wrapping up and I have gotten some great feedback about the game as well as how it can be improved. So I took some time, patched the very small amount of bugs people found and then decided to turn my attention to the feedback that monsters felt the same. I agree, so I did some brainstorming and came up with some pretty quick to implement things, as well as a few more meta upgrades :) See the patch notes below, hopefully everyone is enjoying their time with the game! And if you have some friends that could be interested in the game, please let them know about it! Version Patch Notes 1.0.2 Monsters Snakes now have a posion bite Slimes now split into 2 smaller slimes on death, with about 30% of the main slimes health and half the damage.
