About this game

In a purely hypothetical world where the menace of generative AI threatens the future of art as we know it, the inevitable war that breaks out is fought not by nations, but by followers of different philosophies about what art is. The SlopstarZ fight for art to all be manmade - whether it intends to be expressive or slop. The Creatives see that as not going far enough, that all art of any kind must be made to be expressive and serious. And of course, there are the BraszeAI - who are trained to output as much AI slop as is possible.

In short, this is what an online forum flame war would look like if it were a three-faction tactical RTS game. Do you have what it takes to change the game?

FEATURING:

High-octane edge of your slop gameplay

Fight the Slop Wars at a disadvantage, but on your terms - fall far enough behind and you unlock the developer console to change the stats of units to your advantage. But beware - any changes you make will apply to all teams, not just your own!

High-octane state-of-the-slop graphics

Experience high quality (for two students) art with our entirely hand-made assets, maps, and soundtrack made by top tier graphic designers with nearly 60 hours of Blender experience!

High-octane friend-slop experience

Because the real Slop is the friends you make along the way. Featuring a netcode that is not only compact and easy to use, but also tested by the finest student play-testers of UCSC’s CMPM-172 class of 2026. And that console mentioned earlier? Now everyone gets it...
