About this game

Length is your life. Every hit costs you tail. Stay longer than your opponent, grind them down to nothing, and rack up +3 points per takedown.

CLEAR THE COUCH.

Up to 8 players on one shared screen. No accounts, no setup, no waiting. Plug in up to 8 controllers, split the keyboard four ways (WASD, IJKL, Arrows, Numpad), or cram two players onto a single gamepad. Mix and match. Nobody sits out. Everyone joins by pressing UP.

Take on the story campaign solo or in 2-player co-op. Or bring the chaos to four battle modes: Score Battle, Timed Match, Snake Royale, Endless Classic. Tune speed, scale CPU difficulty, run teams or free-for-all, crank food spawns to Foodpocalypse, slap a custom nameplate on every snake. Your house, your rules.

30 SERPENTS. EACH ONE PLAYS DIFFERENT.

Speed, acceleration, starting length, growth rate. Every snake feels distinct. Tanks wall off whole sections of the board. Speed Demons close gaps before you've finished planning. Growers start tiny and snowball into terrors. Ten serpents are yours from the start. The rest are bosses you'll meet, fight, and recruit.

THE WAR BEHIND THE WAR

An ancient war between serpents. A living darkness feeding on the conflict. The Order seeks unity. The Fangs choose separation. Where the war runs deepest, portals tear open at nightfall and The Writhing spills through.

The campaign crosses ten biomes that change the rules: forests choke your sightlines, frozen wastes starve you, swamps poison most of your food, volcanoes stay in permanent darkness. Each arc follows a different serpent, and a mystery none of them are ready for hides underneath it all.

Yes, this is a snake game. It just has more to say.

Update v0.9.5 Is Live: The Complete Campaign Is Here

v0.9.5 - July 2026. This is the first major Early Access update. All 500 levels are unlocked, the full story is in the game, and every bit of it is playable today.I wanted the complete campaign in your hands before 1.0 so I can hear what you think about the whole thing, not just the front half. Now that the deeper levels are in, I'd love to hear how they play for you.The Full CampaignAll 500 levels are live. Nothing is gated behind the full release anymore. The complete story is now in the game, start to finish.Full 2-player co-op across every level.More Bosses (you asked for this)Boss fights are now twice as frequent, with a new boss every 25 levels.20 bosses total. Beat one to unlock it as a playable snake.New End-Game FoodYou wanted more variety deeper in the run, so five new food types now appear across the back half of the campaign, each with its own powerful effect:Hover Frog (Level 250)Cherries (Level 300)Egg (Level 350)Phantom Frog (Level 400)Pepper (Level 450)See food stats for details. The Full RosterUnlock 30 playable snakes total, each with its own stats. See character stats for details.Fixes and QualityThe red Stun Frog screen effect is now hidden when two or more human players are in a match, so it no longer washes out the shared screen for everyone.Fixed a win condition bug that could trigger when you earned the final campaign level point while shrinking.Coming at 1.0 (July 22, 2026)1.0 is close. This build is about getting the full campaign into your hands and hearing what lands and what doesn't. 1.0 will bring polish, bug fixes, and changes driven by the feedback you give me on this version. Your progress carries straight over. 1.0 won't reset anything. If you're playing, drop a comment below or reach out on Discord. Feedback is actively read and shapes what comes next.
