About this game
Congratulations. You've been chosen.
The job is simple. Carry the designated cargo to the designated location. That's all.
You don't need to ask where it came from. You don't need to check what's inside.
That's──not your job…
A dark cargo-delivery adventure through the slums, as a state-licensed carrier.
Load it. Haul it. Sell it. —
Your vehicle has limited cargo space.
Calculate the size of every package and load with maximum efficiency. The higher the payout, the more irregular the shape—and the more it fights you. Today's income depends on that judgment. If you put the reward you earn into living expenses and upgrading your vehicle, you'll be able to take on more jobs.
Sector:06 — A slum district stretching along the outer rim of the city-state Centralva.
The glow of the central skyscrapers doesn't reach here.
A place where what is "unneeded" ends up. The residents, the streets, even the massive waste-processing grounds. And the nameless things. As you keep taking jobs, you begin to see this city more clearly… —whether you want to or not.
Never check the "cargo" — unless you wish to lose your sanity.
Unknown cargo sells for a high price. But to confirm the price, you have to look inside. Whether you loosen the mouth of the burlap sack is your decision. But once you've seen it——you can't go back.
Your choices decide the ending.
Sometimes, the requests include something… strange. A name not listed on the state-issued order. A client who won't answer questions. If you think rationally, the correct move is to keep obeying. And yet—you might choose not to. Whether that was the right answer is something you can realize later.
Game Features
Inventory management: a loading puzzle built on three factors—size, weight, and stability. What you load and what you leave behind determines your profit.
Profit vs. price you pay: high-value, unknown cargo erodes your driving, your judgment, your sanity—little by little—each time you check what's inside.
Story progresses through jobs: the state, the residents, and unknown clients. A stack of deliveries slowly reveals the outline of the world.
Unease beneath the cute fur: an art style where lovable animal characters coexist with unsettling waste.
Multiple endings: keep obeying, or choose to have a will of your own. In the latter half, your "rational" choices begin to take on a different meaning.

Cthulhu Mythos TRPG “CARGO:HUMAN SIDE:Lily” Announced
Slums × Industrial Revolution — Synopsis of “CARGO:HUMAN SIDE:Lily”During the Industrial Revolution—an era when everything was produced—people’s lives grew richer. But in the shadows, so too did the things deemed “unnecessary.”Sector:06 — a city built from what was cast away.Recently, “disappearances” have been occurring in this city. Not only cargo—but “people” as well.An investigator, with nowhere else to go, drifts into this place. There, they meet a girl selling white flowers.“Would you like some flowers?”From that encounter, the story begins. Beneath the surface of this city, a certain cult continues its quiet existence— a story of those who were never chosen. Why We Are Developing Both a TRPG and a Steam GameCARGO:HUMAN, the main title of CARGO:HUMAN SIDE:Lily, is currently in development as an inventory-driven dark adventure game. At its core lies the world of the Cthulhu Mythos.Originally created as a TRPG scenario, the project took shape as a video game and was released in that form first. In adapting it, certain elements—particularly the heroine, Lily—could not be fully explored.By experiencing both this TRPG scenario and the game version of CARGO:HUMAN, players will uncover a singular, complete narrative.Message from the CreatorI’ve always felt a sense of loss when a work I love comes to an end. With TRPGs especially, the experience is so dense that when a session ends late at night, the feeling of being torn away from that world lingers deeply. As I replay those moments in my mind, I find myself wishing: “I just want to stay in this world a little longer.”I began to wonder—could that feeling be sustained in another form? As an answer to that question, we are creating a work where the same world can be experienced not only as a TRPG, but also as a game.Read full article on Community Announcements (takeshi.maemoto)
