About this game
Two years ago, dungeons began appearing. Upon a dungeon's inception, some people are dragged in at random. Survival rates are brutally low. Those who do make it out often have changed. Beyond the trauma, they come back stronger because killing monsters inside dungeons grants power.
And yet, some gain something even greater. They are called Awakeners. With the help of magical artifacts found within dungeons, they unlock supernatural skills and abilities.
But even among Awakeners, your situation is clearly out of the ordinary. While many report a purple status screen that quantifies their abilities, nobody ever mentioned it can turn black...
Stacy Kirsch gets the short end of the stick in her family's desperate attempt not to fade into irrelevance. Unwilling to be another piece of a chessboard, she decides to stick it to her family and throw a wrench into their plan of marrying her off.
You're the wrench. Even though the two of you just met, she asks you to play her boyfriend at formal gatherings.
High society quickly makes its judgment. In a room full of tailored suits, family alliances, and carefully measured smiles, someone like you clearly doesn't belong. Blinded by prejudice, most people dismiss you outright.
And yet, not everyone you meet in this world will look at you that way.
Pretending to be Stacy’s boyfriend pulls you into a world of expectations, ambition, and carefully hidden motives. But the role you agreed to play might not be what you truly want.

DEMO - Released
Let's talk a little about this project. If you know your genres and you hear that there is a game where dungeons start appearing, and people start to awaken, you probably think of fight scenes and powerscaling. The most prominent example of the genre would be Solo Leveling. Now, truth be told, that's not in the budget. There is a second genre. The 'you're not good enough for my daughter' type of story. And that's exactly where Perfect Son-In-Law shines. The usual powerscaling/dungeon story works as a backdrop that supports and enhances the romance aspect of the game. I know it would be cool to see large and epic fight scenes, but that's not quite what this story is trying to be.It's an AVN with one main love interest and two alternative love interests. The two important events for everyone here on Steam are the Demo Release in three weeks, on the 28th of August, and the release of the full game, on the 20th of November.This is quite an ambitious schedule, but it should be possible. Main Menu Finished and Operational
Yesterday, I handed the Demo of Perfect Son-In-Law to Steam for review. If everything goes well, I aim to release the Demo in mid-August. Fingers crossed. My previous game is coming to an end. It's already at the point where it only needs a few more touches. Unsurprisingly, I had some time to spend on Perfect Son-In-Law. I created the main menu:What you can't see, but what I insisted on, is that the text on the buttons isn't hard-coded in the image asset; it's created by the game itself. This means it's easy to translate. Good Start
This week, we reached 2000 wishlists!!!We hit the first milestone, 1000 wishlists, fairly early on. This means the store page launch was a success in itself. Back then, I didn't want to jump to conclusions. I knew the real test for a game is if it gathers interest organically, even when there is no major marketing event happening in the background. Seeing the number of wishlists climb steadily gives me a sense of ease. People are excited for this game.
