About this game
The Clownhouse
Break into a cursed mansion.
Steal everything you can.
Escape before the Clown finds you.
Do it alone, or with up to 3 friends in online co-op.
The Clownhouse is a stealth horror extraction roguelite where every run is a gamble. Loot valuables, manage your sanity, and decide how long you're willing to stay before greed gets you killed.
The mansion changes every run. Layouts shift, dangers move, and the deeper you go, the worse things become. Most runs don't last long, but every escape makes the next one easier.
There are no weapons here. You survive by staying quiet, hiding in the dark, disguising yourself, improvising tools, and knowing when it's time to leave.
Survive Together — Co-op for Up to 4 Players
Break in alone, or bring up to three friends into the mansion with you.
Online co-op for up to 4 players. The mansion is hard enough alone — facing it together changes everything.
Split up to grab more loot faster, or stick close when the Clown starts hunting.
Coordinate distractions, barricade doors, and cover each other's escape.
More players means more loot to carry out — and more ways for a run to fall apart.
Prefer a lonelier nightmare? Every run can still be played solo.
Greed Keeps You Inside
Every run is a risk-reward gamble.
Search the mansion for cash, jewels, rare valuables, and hidden rooms.
Manage limited inventory space and weight. Every item you carry could mean leaving something better behind.
Escape with what you've found, or push deeper and risk losing everything.
Short, high-tension runs built for replayability.
The Mansion Wants You Gone
You're not alone inside.
The Clown stalks the halls relentlessly. Sometimes it kills. Sometimes it just watches and laughs while your sanity collapses.
The Butcher only hunts in the light. In darkness, he's harmless. Sometimes your flashlight is the most dangerous thing you own.
The Rabbit lurks through the mansion wearing a mask you'll desperately want for yourself.
Outsmart Them
You can't fight what hunts you. You survive by tricking it.
Wear disguises. Steal the Bunny Mask and walk among the mansion's horrors unnoticed.
Stay hidden. Turn off your flashlight, crouch through darkness, and avoid making noise.
Slow them down. Barricade doors, deploy distractions, and use crafted tools to buy yourself precious seconds when escape is the only option.
Move quietly. Find gear that muffles your footsteps and keeps attention away from you.
Hold Onto Your Mind
The longer you stay, the harder it becomes to think clearly.
Sanity constantly drains inside the mansion, especially when the Clown decides to toy with you.
Craft cocktails from looted alcohol to steady your nerves and survive longer runs.
Solve puzzles and unlock sealed rooms hiding the mansion's most valuable rewards.

Co-op interaction, item pickups and join-by-code fixes
Fixed an error that fired on every room you entered after your first dungeon run of a session. Room-change audio and room tracking no longer stop updating on your second and later runs. The game no longer holds on to rooms from a previous run after you return to the mansion and start a new one.Fixed a bug that could kill interaction for the rest of a run — no "E" prompt on doors, items, clocks or anything else, with no way to recover short of leaving. The trigger was co-op: if a teammate finished a shared press-and-hold object (winding a grandfather clock, switching off a radio) while you were still holding it, your release was silently dropped and interaction never came back.Press-and-hold interactions now always release cleanly, even when the object changes state mid-hold. If a hold ever gets stranded for any other reason, the game now closes it by itself instead of leaving you unable to interact.Objects that are switched off no longer offer an interact prompt at all, so nothing can be "used" in a half-initialised state.Fixed an error when picking up items that could leave the item lying on the floor after it had already gone into your bag, letting the same item be picked up over and over. In co-op, affected items stayed visible and collectable for everyone else in the run.Bombs in the air could show a "Pick up" prompt. Taking one handed you a free bomb while the live one stayed in the world, so the same bomb could be farmed over and over. Thrown bombs are projectiles again and cannot be picked back up.Pickup sounds now actually play. They were being cut off the instant the item was removed from the world, so most pickups were silent.Pickup sounds now respect the Master and Sound Effects volume sliders, and no longer carry across the whole level.Room codes are now cleaned up before we use them. A code pasted with a stray space, a line break or a dash in the middle used to fail outright — it now connects you like any other code.A code that genuinely can't work is no...Read full article on Community Announcements (axlplay)AnnouncementsOfficial
