A slapstick puzzle-platformer where cloning yourself is the solution to everything. Launch your doubles, stack them, turn them into boxes. Dave doesn't mind. Probably.

About this game
Why be alone when you can be by yourself?
Dave wakes up in a pod with one skill and no idea why: he can copy himself. Between him and the exit: lasers, crushing blocks, and doors that have no business being locked.
A slapstick puzzle-platformer where every copy of Dave is a tool, a platform, and a potential sacrifice. He doesn't mind. Probably.
What you'll do:
- Clone yourself and swap between copies
- Launch, stack and squash your doubles to reach places one Dave never could
- Zap clones into crates with the Davebox beam and shove them around
- Dodge lasers, sneak past detection zones, ride tractor beams, and teleport through portals
- Solve 50+ handcrafted puzzles across 4 zones: the Lab, the Vents, the Warehouse and the Office
Every Dave is expendable. Can you take OG Dave all the way to the end?
Something is wrong in this facility:
A shadow keeps watching you from the vents. Mysterious box-men that look strangely familiar. A man in a suit, laughing in an office you haven't reached yet. Answers at the top floor. Also in the box:
- Expressive pixel art, hand-made and animated, with slapstick cartoon energy: every squash, zap and untimely end is animated with love
- Original soundtrack by Leo "Tolgy" Cakmak
- Fully localized in 19 languages
- One evening of quality time with yourself. And yourself. And yourself.

Divider Dave is out now !
Dave is out of the pod. Divider Dave is available now on Steam, 15% off until September 16. 50+ handmade levels across 4 zones. One Dave, as many copies as you need, none of them guaranteed to survive. He doesn't mind. Probably. We're a two-person studio and this is our first game, so two things: - If you play it, a Steam review. Good, bad, "why did I sacrifice 40 Daves for a door" — it all helps a small game get seen. - If something breaks, tell us in the bug thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/4463690/discussions/0/591814398006306917/ — we're watching it all day and can push fixes fast. SteamOS / Steam Deck: use the default Linux version. Details here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/4463690/discussions/0/591814398006307339/ Thanks for wishlisting, playing the demo and putting up with us. Divider Dave launches Wednesday, September 2 — 9am PT / 6pm CEST
Well, this is it.8 months ago we decided to make a video game. We put all the work we could into this, we hired talented people to help us create something as visually appealing and fun as we could, and at some point you have to press the green button.Divider Dave launches on Wednesday, September 2 at 9am PT / 6pm CEST, at $7.99 / €7.99 with a 15% launch discount. It's a slapstick puzzle-platformer where you clone yourself and sacrifice the copies: clones as stepping stones, button-holders, counterweights, live bait. Pure ACME cartoon logic, carried by a mountain of hand-made character animation we spent an unreasonable amount of time on. Early-2000s Cartoon Network energy, with a running storyline stitching the whole thing together.Under the slapstick it's a carefully built game: 50+ handmade levels across 4 worlds, each with its own visual and musical identity, and new mechanics introduced throughout to keep things fresh from start to finish. Environments by Marcos "Ryankamos" Freire (Flowstone Saga, Orange Season), an original soundtrack, and level design contributions from Ogier Serot (Pikuniku 2).The free demo stays up if you want to warm up before Wednesday.-Chancla InteractiveRead full article on Community Announcements (sidestep.publishing)Community & EventsOfficial
