About this game

Your job is quite simple: find missing persons using your free* PC at the Mili Co. office.

How to do your job in a few steps:

1. Receive a set of tasks daily. At first, these tasks will involve finding a missing person. Later, new services will be unlocked.

2. Use the computer to check the latest locations of the missing person and try to find them on the world map.

3. Send your report to receive your salary and return the next day. But be careful: failing to meet the goal could mean the end of your time here at Milico Co.

Be cautious outside.

The Office is the only truly safe place in times like these. Forget your family, friends, or whoever you once called a friend. You’ll never need to touch grass again—we have PlastiGrass here! And drinking water is free**.

Use awesome software!

GeoFinder is our incredible system that helps you locate anyone. See the latest places they visited and triangulate their position to discover where they are hiding!

Cooperate.

Wholesome coworkers will be waiting for you.

*Free PC available only during work shifts

**While the act of drinking water is free, the water itself is not. Each mL will be counted toward your final quota.

    Cyberpunk Steam Fest!

Hey! Quick announcement! Department of Missing Persons has joined the Cyberpunk Steam Festival!!! Wanna help us reach the magic numbers by wishlisting it? ːsteammockingː We're almost at our FIRST thousand!!!Small potato vs. Big potato As a solo developer, some challenges are greater than others (and some even unbeatable). I've been working hard to bring this game to life, and most of the main mechanics are already working. Still, like every game dev, I couldn't foresee what the art part had in store for me. \ Making a GeoGuessr-like game is extremely hard, visually speaking, due to one tiny little problem: I'm not using real maps. You know, it's like working on an open-world game without the walking exploration part. Nevertheless, I love this game and it'll workout. Cheers.

    We’ll be at InterfaceX26!

My little game Department of Missing Persons was selected to stand alongside great titles at the InterfaceX26 festival, from April 26 to May 4! ːsteamhappyːFor a game that simulates using an old computer in a corporate-military dystopia (not too far from the reality we live in now), I think I’m in the perfect place to present my small slice of media. Here I leave this beautiful field, nothing suspicious and nothing scary:Add it to your wishlist so you don’t miss the release and, perhaps, the playtests that will be coming very soon...
