About this game
The War
Choose your side in an all-out conflict between two superpowers.
The struggle between BAD and GOOD goons is eternal. But fear not: whether you are an FPS veteran or a weekend warrior, you can feel right at home on this battlefield.
Build & Destroy
Build grand fortifications around key objectives, dig under the battlefield to secure superior positions, or set up a sneaky sniper nest among the trees.
It is entirely up to you how you shape your environment.
But don’t forget about the arsenal of destruction. Use bundles of TNT to completely obliterate enemy positions, or bring out the mighty bazooka to remove both the enemy and their cover.
Use Your Resources
You can do much more than just dig and build.
Turn the tide of battle with a well-placed spawn garrison. Help the wounded with a medical station. Or drop down a supply crate so your more trigger-happy comrades can keep blind-firing at the sky.
These, and many more tactical assets, will be at your fingertips.
Grand Arsenal
Arm yourself with a wide selection of firearms, explosives, and other field equipment.
There is a tool for every situation, but no single tool for all of them. Our goal is to keep the equipment feeling balanced, fair, and fun.
Call in Air Support
Collect aid packages to gain access to air support.
Drop bombs on enemy positions and turn fortified defenses into dust. Just don’t forget to warn your teammates first, those pesky bombs do not distinguish friend from foe.
Shape the Future
The game is still in an early stage of development, and your feedback matters.
Feel free to share your opinions, ideas, and suggestions with us as the game continues to grow.
Get ready for many more features to come.

Bad Goons Devlog #2 - We Overhauled Spawning & Explosions
Bad Goons Devlog #2 - Wave Spawns, New Weapons & Better DestructionGrab a playtest key on Discord and join us, August 9 at 19:00 CEST on the EU server! Join the Bad Goons Discord Hey everyone! Bad Goons Devlog #2 is here! Since the first devlog and our recent playtests, we have been working on a number of systems that affect the flow of battles, team coordination, destruction, and general quality of life. This update includes a completely overhauled spawn system, changes to capturing objectives, improvements to explosions and material durability, a new weapon, looting, better teammate visibility, and a collection of bug fixes. Wave-based spawning The spawn system has been overhauled. Instead of players immediately returning to the battlefield individually, players now spawn in waves. The goal is to get teammates back into the fight together rather than having everyone trickle toward the frontline one by one. We want battles to feel more organized while still keeping the game easy to jump into. We have also added a 10-second delay to suicide/respawn. Reworked capture timesCapture times have been adjusted as we continue refining the pacing of matches. Objectives are one of the main things controlling how the frontline moves across the map, so getting their timing right is especially important for larger battles. We will continue adjusting these values based on playtest feedback. Better destruction and material resistance We have also overhauled parts of the explosion system. Different materials now react more appropriately to explosions. Harder materials are harder to destroy, meaning explosions should no longer treat every part of a fortification in the same way. Since digging, building and destroying the battlefield are some of the core mechanics of Bad Goons, this is an important step toward making destruction more predictable and giving different building materials more meaning. Loot fallen players You can now loot bodies for ammunition and XP. Running low on ammo...Read full article on Community Announcements (⭕⃤ Mario Borher™)AnnouncementsOfficial
Bad Goons Devlog #1
Bad Goons Devlog #1 is now live!Hey everyone! Our first Bad Goons devlog is now live, and it gives a proper introduction to what we are building. Bad Goons is a large-scale tactical voxel shooter inspired by World War II battlefields, classic FPS games, and sandbox building/destruction. The idea is simple: what if you could fight in a shooter where the battlefield is not static, but something players can dig through, build on, fortify, and blow apart? What is Bad Goons? In this first devlog, we talk about the core concept behind the game and show how a match works. Players choose their loadout, deploy onto the battlefield, and fight over a chain of capture points leading toward the enemy base. Teams can defend their own points, attack enemy positions, or reshape the terrain to create new tactical opportunities. Dig, build, fortify, destroy You can dig tunnels, build cover, create sniper positions, fortify objectives, camouflage defenses, and use explosives like grenades, dynamite, and bazookas to break through enemy lines. There are also support tools such as medkits, ammo packs, flares for night maps, and deployable spawn points called garrisons, which allow teams to create new frontline positions. A weekend shooter with sandbox freedom Our goal is to create a weekend shooter experience that is easy to jump into, fun with friends, and flexible enough for both laid-back and more hardcore playstyles. Bad Goons is already playable, and we have had a lot of fun testing it internally, but we believe the game will really start to shine with larger player counts. Open playtest | July 9 and July 11 That is why we are hosting open playtest events on: July 9 July 11 You can grab a free Steam key on our Discord and join the playtest: Join the Bad Goons Discord Wishlist Bad Goons on Steam Our Steam page is also live, so wishlisting the game helps us a lot: Thank you to everyone who joins the playtest, gives feedback, wishlists the game, or follows the project.
