About this game
Burnout is the perfect game for anyone stuck in endless days full of emails, notifications… and a patience level below zero.
Here you don’t need to be a pro: you just need to be a stressed-out warrior ready to explode!
Step into a world where stress becomes fuel, frustration is a resource, and every click is a chance to say: “Alright, that’s enough.”
Yes, because Burnout keeps track of your clicks. And the more you rage, the more it rewards you.
It’s a toxic relationship, but somehow… it works.
Then again, it’s called Burnout, not "Relax Simulator".
Ok, after this completely useless introduction, here comes the interesting part: Burnout isn’t just about blowing off stress, it’s also about earning.
Every click generates Stress Points, and Stress Points turn into packs.
Packs are the heart of the game: you open them, tear them apart, shake them, smash them… and inside you’ll find items of every rarity.
The items you get can be:
used in‑game
collected as trophies of your remaining sanity
or sold on the Steam Community Market, turning your frustration into… actual money for your Steam Wallet
Yes, you read that right:
the more stressed you are, the more you earn.
Not great life advice — but it’s perfect for this game.
Burnout is a simple, immediate, and surprisingly therapeutic loop:
click → earn → open → collect → sell → repeat.
A toxic cycle?
Maybe.
Fun?
Well, let's talk about it.

It’s time to make some noise!
I’ve found the cure! I’ve found the cure for Burnout!False, not really. You’ll be just as angry as before, maybe even more. But at least a small part of that anger can now turn into fun.Sound effects have arrived! You can obtain them by opening packs, trade them on the Community Market, and use them both on your own PC and in multiplayer. This update introduces two important new features:• You can prank your friends while playing in a multiplayer Lobby.• You can prank yourself because you forgot you assigned a sound effect to a keyboard key.All details are available directly in-game!This implementation will also include 8 new specific achievements. Bug fixes and improvements• Fixed an issue at startup that could cause save file corruption.• Integrated a new antialiasing system for the user interface.• Improved the appearance of multiplayer items.• Fixed a bug that occurred when switching to another multiplayer Lobby while already being in one.• Fixed an issue where pages were not displayed correctly after hiding the interface using the dedicated button. Currently, I’m developing a new system to make workstations more customizable and to allow recycling duplicated items. See you next time!Read full article on Community Announcements (TotalWar)Patch NotesOfficial
Patch v0.4.2.15
Today’s patch: • Fixed a bug that, in certain situations, prevented players from being correctly generated inside the Lobby. • Joining a Lobby while already being in another one caused unexpected behavior; this issue has now been resolved. • Fixed a problem that prevented Burnout from launching correctly. The cause was corrupted save files. • Added two new settings to adjust the volume of UI sounds and the transparency of PC interfaces. Thank you for all the reports I’ve received over the past few days, they are (and you are) essential!Read full article on Community Announcements (TotalWar)Patch NotesOfficial
Update v0.4.1.14
Hi everyone! It’s the middle of summer and incredibly hot, but here’s a new update: • The formatting of the data in the statistics page has been improved. Now only minutes are shown if the session is shorter than one hour, and the average click count is also displayed in minutes. • The multiplayer button has been enlarged to make it more immediate and intuitive. • A new button has been added in the multiplayer lobby to copy and share the ID. The AUTO‑JOIN selector has also been added here. • A new background has been added: “Benchmark”. With legendary rarity, it displays in real time the CPU name, GPU name, RAM usage, CPU load, and the internal GPU sensor temperature. This information is also shared in multiplayer! There have also been important backend changes in preparation for the next update.Read full article on Community Announcements (TotalWar)Patch NotesOfficial
Burnout Multiplayer Update
Hello everyone! Today marks one of the most important updates for Burnout: multiplayer. From now on you can join your friends (and others) and share your outbursts at the PC. You can create lobbies with up to 50 players (okay, that’s the intended limit, but I don’t have enough friends to fully test if everything works!). A feature I really wanted to include is AUTO‑JOIN: when you launch Burnout, the game will automatically join friends who are already in a Lobby, without needing to manually create or search for one.To showcase your skills, I’ve added 9 new achievements specifically for multiplayer.I’ve also integrated the new “Statistics” page. It now displays in real time your playtime, total clicks, burnout clicks, and the average time between clicks. Sessions are saved and shown in a historical data table, so you can keep track of your progress (or your mental decline).Minor changes:Visual improvements and tweaks to inventory items.Updated the images for the First Epic and First Legendary achievements.Fixed a bug in the text projection on the “Duplicates” page.I have restored the visibility of the inventory page as a separate window in the taskbar.Steam inventory items have been made tradable between players. If you find any bugs or have ideas to improve the game, feel free to open a discussion. I always read your messages and it’s a huge pleasure. Thank you!Read full article on Community Announcements (TotalWar)Patch NotesOfficial
