    Update 1.3.1 - Hotfix

This hotfix addresses immediate issues and includes minor changes. After this update, you should find employees much more efficient in how they use the tray, as they will now batch orders more cleanly. Instead of all racing to grab orders as fast as possible, one employee will claim a chunk before the next one does. Additionally, employees should be better at actually washing dishes. Washing dishes has also been separated out into its own task group. If you previously disabled cleaning for an employee, this will automatically be disabled for that specific employee. Update 1.3.1 Patch Notes Added the ability to set a shelf to "NOTHING". This will stop employees from putting items on it. Coffee/food items that have been assigned to a customer will now display their table number if available. Solved an issue that would stop you from being able to bulk add items into holders from the tray Stop employees from going to a location, then returning to grab a tray rather than just grabbing the tray in the first place. Should speed up waiters a lot in large cafes Improve employees so they can actually restock syrup holders and ice cream freezers. Ice cream freezers will default to one type per slot; syrup holders will be based on the syrup last placed in them. Improve the way the employee task manager works so they are more likely to perform certain tasks Improve the way the employee task scheduler works so it batches together certain tasks when using the tray. Improve the way employees schedule dish washing. Expanded it into its own task group so you can better task it and dedicate staff to washing. Improve milk jug handling when you happen to pour milk into a jug that an employee was using. Don't promote vending machine customers to normal cafe customers. This doesn't affect actual flow rate but stops customers with drinks already in their hand from ending up in the cafe. Improve the placement of some items, such as pastries, onto the new grid snap surfaces. Solved an issue ...

Update 1.3.0 - Make it Yours

Update 1.3.0 is our largest update since we released Cup and Counter just over a month ago. With this update, we have significantly increased the number of plants, art, and seating options available to you, while introducing new features such as the ability to put down walls.Plant OverhaulIn this update, we have made a huge change to plants. The most noticeable is the introduction of 31 new plant varieties. Three of these are new hanging types and let you change the look and feel of your cafe to suit your needs. On top of the new plants, we have made it possible to change up the pot they are placed in. You can now customize any plant with one of our 10 pot varieties. You can adjust the color of each one, just like the originals. Three of the new plant types can even have their flower color adjusted through the customizer, so you aren't stuck with the color we authored.New Seating TypesOne part of Cup and Counter that has been a little lacking since release is the variety of seating types; you basically only had one type available in 2 or 4 arrangements. With this update, we are introducing three more visually distinct options that you can now purchaseFrom bar stools to sofas to more classic bench seats, you can now add much more visual variety to your Cafe.Expanded Painting OptionsOn top of the new seating and plants, we have also added 5 more painting options. We plan to expand on these further down the track, but they've already increased the number of options available to you.Updated Supply Placement MechanicsA common sore point for players is that our free placement mechanic can be frustrating to use, especially when trying to set things up neatly or place bulk amounts of supplies. We overhauled this system so it will try to automatically and cleanly build rows of items and feel more like stacking a shelf. We feel like we have struck a good middle ground for supply items between the whole completely free placement system and this slightly more rigid mini-grid.Empl...

Update 1.2.4 - New End of Day Summary & Bug Fixes

This update fixes a few issues with the tutorial system that could lead to the CupOS interface locking up. This should no longer occur, and you will no longer be forced to follow the tutorial steps once the tablet is open. We have also done work to improve the reliability of certain achievements triggering. On top of the bug fixes, we have redesigned the end-of-day summary to provide you with a better breakdown of how your day went. Patch 1.2.4 Patch Notes Redesigned the daily summary. It should now look more visually appealing while showing a lot more data about how your day went. Made the milestones UI flow better. This still needs work, but we have a plan to replace this system entirely. Fixed an issue where a disabled cup size was causing the Size Doesn't Matter achievement to never trigger. Improved the reliability of unlocking the Clean Sweep achievement by reducing the number of trigger states and making those that do occur a bit more obvious Stripped out the locking up functionality from the tutorial system that could get you trapped in the CupOS interface if you didn't follow the step guides. Fixed the customer leaving sweet that was marking customers' plates as dirty if they are on the same table. Improved the reliability of the dirty flag, so it only persists when it needs to. When you transfer tea to another cup, the tea bag will now also transfer CupOS UI will no longer lock you out from exiting under certain tutorial circumstances CupOS UI highlights during a tutorial will no longer hide and restore upon exiting and re-entering the CupOS interface Improved tracking of what seats are available for customers or not.

Update 1.2.3 - Fixing NPC Issues and Lights Respawning

This quick update features a key fix for two major problems. The first is the employees mass leaving at close time. They should now stick around until there are no longer any tasks that need completing. On the flip side, they should also not stay any longer than they need after closing. The second is an issue with how we were generating IDs for items we placed in the scene, such as the standard lighting in the cafe. This issue caused the IDs to change every time we adjusted the Cafe. With this change, the IDs should change one last time, then be set to a much more reliable value that shouldn't drift through changes to the game. Critical fix to the way static IDs were being generated for our scene-placed items. This caused things like lights to be recreated every time we changed the Cafe layout. You will experience another one-time respawn of these items, but after this, any change you make should persist. Employees should now stay behind when work still needs doing and leave when there is nothing left to do for the day. Improve the behavior of the tutorial highlighter so that it can better follow items on the tablet.

Patch 1.2.2 - Tutorial Improvements & Courier Fixes

This is a smaller update. In this update, we reworked a chunk of the tutorial UI to make it easier to read and work better on smaller screens, such as a device like the Steam Deck. This patch also includes some crucial fixes, including one where items could fall through the cafe floor. We also added a system to recover any items that fall through the world, and they will be automatically teleported to the delivery area. We have also done some initial work on solving some of the issues people are facing with the courier. If you have multiple couriers, they should all now start actually delivering. Update 1.2.2 Patch Notes - Slight redesign of the tutorial UI to make it look nicer on smaller screens. Also condensed the tutorial steps to make them easier to follow. - Solved an issue with the floor colliders that could lead to certain items flying through the world. - Fixed an issue where translations weren't working properly in the new tablet interface. - Implemented a new system to help automatically recover items that may have fallen through the world previously. - Initial fixes for the courier system. More than one courier will actually operate at a time from now on.
