The episode is officially released!
Over the past week, all I had left to do was pick the music tracks, do some final polish on the dialogue, and set up the achievements. I managed to finish those tasks a day early, which gave me time to play around with the UI. The main menu background now changes depending on which ending you unlocked most recently, and the choices are color coded to fit the emotion, along with about 5 other smaller changes. Nothing major, just some quality of life improvements that I hope some of you may actually notice and enjoy.Thank you to everyone who put the game on their wishlist and waited for the release! There is a 15% release discount which you guys can jump on. (7 Days Until Release) Game approved by Steam, release date locked in!
I just got an email from Steam confirming that the game build is officially approved! That means unless something totally out of my control happens (like my PC suddenly dying on me), the release is fully locked in for next Monday, August 24th.At this point, the game is 99% complete. All the renders and animations are finished, and right now I’m just picking out the music tracks for each scene. Once that is out of the way, I'll do a few final polish passes on the dialogue. The very last thing on my checklist is setting up the Steam achievements.I've poured a lot of time into making this short game as fun (and spicy) as possible, so I'm really excited for you guys to see how it plays out. If you haven't already, adding the game to your wishlist is a massive help for a solo dev like me.
