Chronos Trap in Time is a high-octane vertical rogue-like shooter that blends classic arcade action with deep, modern progression systems. As a champion of the Gods, you must ascend through shifting battlefields, overcoming mythical hordes to challenge the ancient Titans in a fast-paced quest for glory.
The Path to Olympus: Dual-Layer Progression
Victory isn't just about fast reflexes; it's about the choices you make between the heat of battle and the sanctity of the heavens.
In-Run Evolution: During each descent into chaos, collect sacred ingredients to brew temporary potions and gather immediate blessings. These provide the tactical edge needed to survive the current wave.
Eternal Divine Favors: Death is merely a gateway to greater power. Before each run, speak with the Gods to unlock permanent upgrades that stay with you forever.
Key Features:
God-Specific Mechas: Every Greek God grants you access to a unique Mecha tailored to their divine essence. Master Zeus’s lightning-infused machinery or the crushing tide of Poseidon’s steel.
Hephaestos’ Flaming Forge: Visit the God of Forge to upgrade your entire arsenal. These permanent enhancements affect all Mechas and weapons, ensuring that your firepower grows exponentially with every material you claim.
Tactical Weaponry: Beyond your Mecha's innate abilities, develop a specialized weapon kit. Customize your fire rate, damage patterns, and elemental effects to build the ultimate Titan-slaying machine.
Bullet-Hell Mythos: Engage in intense vertical combat against waves of mythical enemies. Experience smooth, responsive controls designed for precision dodging and dash-attacks.
Titan Showdowns: Face off against gargantuan bosses in multi-stage battles that will test the limits of your build and your skill.
Will you be the one to reshape the heavens? Prepare your Mecha, seek the blessings of the ancients, and begin your ascension.

Major Update: The Mech Overhaul for God Helps!
Hey everyone, We are thrilled to bring you a massive, highly anticipated overhaul to the game's super attacks. We have completely revamped all God Helps in Chronos Trap in Time, transforming them from traditional divine interventions into devastating, screen-clearing machines! Here is everything you need to know about your new mechanical arsenal: God Helps Revamp: Enter the Mechs Every single God Help in the game now summons a specialized, high-tech Mech to unleash absolute chaos on the battlefield. Zeus's Mech: Calls down a thunderous machine that fires two targeted lightning bolts at enemies before detonating in a massive explosion, dealing heavy area-of-effect damage. Poseidon's Mech: Deploys a hydro-powered Mech that hurls massive tridents across the arena. These tridents leave behind hazardous watery trails that deal heavy sustained damage to any enemy that touches them. Artemis's Mechs: Why settle for one? Activating this God Help now summons two Artemis Mechs that rapidly fire off volleys of arrows that actively seek down and eliminate enemies. Ares's Mech: Calls in the ultimate tactical advantage. The Ares Mech scans the battlefield and marks every single enemy present, severely debuffing them so they take significantly more damage from your attacks. Apollo's Mech: Summons a devastating solar machine that rapidly spins in place, spraying out two massive streams of fire to deal heavy damage across a very large area. Athena's God Help: Remains unchanged! Athena still cycles between all the other God Helps, allowing you to randomly call in any of the newly revamped divine Mechs during your run. Thank you for your continued support as we keep evolving the combat and action of Chronos Trap in Time. Jump in, summon your new Mechs, and let us know which divine machine is your favorite!Read full article on Community Announcements (SCS Ogonvard AB)Patch NotesOfficial

Update: Level Transitions, Zeus Tweaks & VFX Upgrades!
Hey everyone, We are rolling out a new update today focused on improving the visual feedback of your runs and adding some much-needed polish to your divine abilities and basic attacks. Here is a breakdown of what is included in today's patch: New Progression UI Level Transitions: We have added a brand-new transition screen between every level during a run. This new UI will clearly show you exactly where you currently are in your run and track your progression as you advance through the game. Zeus God Help Adjustments Double the Lightning: The Zeus God Help ability now shoots two lightning bolts instead of one! To keep the balance in check, the damage of each individual bolt has been halved, meaning the total damage output remains exactly the same, but it looks and feels twice as cool. Visual Tweaks: The ability has received a slightly updated visual effect to match the new double-strike setup. Cross-Platform Parity: We fixed an inconsistency with the Zeus God Help effect. It will now look and behave exactly the same across all versions of the game (Windows, Linux, and Mac). Visual Enhancements Primary Attack Impacts: We have completely remade the hit effects for all Primary Attacks. The impact effects are now significantly bigger and feature a lot more particles, making every hit feel much more satisfying and impactful. Thank you all for your continued feedback and support. Jump in, enjoy the new visual flair, and keep on fighting through the timelines!Read full article on Community Announcements (SCS Ogonvard AB)Patch NotesOfficial
