About this game
While you slumbered, an interloper has arrived at this place and shut themselves away from you.
Get past your prey's defenses without them noticing and lure them back to their hiding spot to dispatch them for good...
Darkened Halls is a game about roaming an empty, decrepit dining establishment that seems incredibly alien in the dark... only this time, YOU'RE the thing lurking in the shadows!
Haunting atmosphere and tense stealth action
Play through the story, then test your skill in the challenge modes
Careful audio design and pre-rendered scenes are a love letter to the craft of horror games
No cheap jumpscares; you are the thing to be feared
In Darkened Halls, you play as a run-down mechanical guardian. Long past its prime but still watchful for those who would trespass in it's sanctuary, you awaken for the first time in a long time to newly whirring cameras, upgraded locks, and a nightguard standing watch. You must harness your anger, sharpen your hearing, and soften your footsteps to show them once and for all why you will always be the true guardian of this place.
Darkened Halls was inspired by the developer's admiration for many of the titans of the horror genre, as well as the challenge communities that have sprung up around them. The hope is that this game will give players a fresh spin on many beloved horror tropes, offering a unique gameplay experience that blends the familiar and the unknown.

Update v1.3 - Massive Refactor
With this update, the Darkened Halls file size has been decreased by 55%! This has been accomplished by trimming some unnecessary texture redundancies and compressing similar sprites using the appropriate video codecs. Simultaneous loading of multiple large sprites was also mostly removed, so the game should run a lot smoother now. Also fixed several bugs related to the tutorial and a few other very signal-heavy parts of the game which unfortunately broke when updating my version of Godot. Thanks,CmnCreeperRead full article on Community Announcements (CmnCreeper)Patch NotesOfficial
