About this game

Just Updated

I have updated the Store to allow for incremental updates.  So instead of saving up to 70 coins to make a purchase, you can buy incremental levels for 7 each.  Yes, there's also a big decrease in prices overall.  It will detect old profiles and refund all your Shop purchases so you can make them again on the new cheaper items.  I also added items to the shop to increase the amount of coins gained per run.

Happy Hunting, and as always, I'm open to any and all feedback you have!

About the Game

Seven Suns of Orion is a time survival game with minimalistic gameplay and roguelite elements, with a focus on short play times and fast growth.  It's a mashup of Star Control style movement crossed with Vampire Survivors

Survive 7 minute rounds and defeat each boss in seven stages with seven unique playable ships -- not just statline changes but with unique handling and control schemes.

The robot armada has been unleashed and there's no place to run or hide. All you can do is survive as long as you can until the boss that's preventing you from running shows up.  Gather scrap in each run to unlock new playable ships and starting items to make the next run easier.

Use Newtonian physics like planetary gravity and the terrain to foil enemies, use thrust to drift out of danger.

Turreted weapons autofire to let you concentrate on maneuvering.  Fixed weapons can auto fire or be fired manually for more precision.  Tailor your ship to your playstyle.

Each ship is unique and have different playstyles, not just small percentage differences.

Find hidden combinations for the 9 starting weapons to create new powerful weapons, like the powerful Sweeping Laser, Super Railgun or powerful defense drones.

    Special Weapons are now available!!

I've added unique special weapons that can be purchased from the upgrade store for each of the ships. They have a high cooldown (60 seconds), but can really clear out a lot of enemies.I've also reworked the boss camera, I've had feedback that it gets too zoomed out and makes it hard to see/play. So now I revert back to the normal camera if you get too far away, and put up an orange arrow pointing to the boss. If you get closer, it will go back to trying to keep the boss in frame. Let me know what you think!

    A small set of fixes

    * Shouldn't get keyboard/mouse constantly fighting in the tooltips * Superflak wasn't marked as Fixed, so on warship it could end up off of your main turrets. * Perf optimizations for the lightning clouds, some folks were reporting slowdowns there * Nerfed the Pacifist, no chain rail, lowered damage/fire rate buffs. * Moved some rank up requirements around, mostly to make it easier/nicer, the Fighter gets a little twitchy w/ turn rate boosts, and the Galleon has a hard time on the Vortex w/ thrust reductions. * The orbitals on Level 7 were marked as enemies but had infinite hitpoints, so moved them to Environment * An errant dying sun would spawn on Level 7
