About this game

Red Passport: Deported is an atmospheric first-person adventure that continues the story of the traveler from Red Passport: Ticket to Russia.

The fairy tale is over. You have been deported. You are standing in the port of Vladivostok, and all that separates you from your couch in Moscow is 9,000 kilometers and a complete lack of money. This game will show you the other side of travel: harsh, but romantic in its own way.

What to do in the game?

  • Plan your route: Choose how to move between cities. Hitchhiking is free but dangerous. Freight trains are fast, but cold and dirty.

  • Earn a living: Look for odd jobs at locations. Help unload a truck, find a lost cat, or fix a fence — any work pays.

  • Explore: Wander through train stations, markets, trains, and roadside cafes. Look for useful items that will grant access to closed areas.

  • Socialize: The world is populated by characters with their own problems. Dialogues will help you advance the plot and immerse yourself deeper into the atmosphere of life on the road.

You don't have to play the first part to understand the plot, but Deported offers a unique experience of contrast between comfortable tourism and forced survival.

Development is in full swing every day! First look at the new railway station

Hello, travelers! 🎒I want to share a quick update on how the development of Red Passport: Deported is going. The work doesn't stop for a single day — I am constantly implementing new mechanics, improving the visuals, and expanding the world to make your journey to Moscow as immersive as possible.Right now, I am fully focused on creating a massive and very important new location — the "Severnaya" Cargo Station.I'm trying to capture that harsh, industrial vibe: the rumble of train cars, warehouses, strict security at the checkpoint (you’ll definitely need to figure out how to deal with them), and, of course, atmospheric details hidden in the back alleys.A huge thank you to everyone who follows the project, supports it, and adds the game to your wishlists! It gives me massive motivation to keep working on it every single day.Let me know in the comments: what do you think about the atmosphere of this new location?Stay tuned!

New Feature: Camera and Personal Photo Album!

Greetings, travelers! Development on Red Passport: Deported is in full swing, and today I want to share a new mechanic that will make your long journey home a little cozier. The road from Vladivostok to Moscow is 9,000 kilometers of a harsh, yet uniquely beautiful reality. Rusty trains, foggy platforms, eccentric strangers on the road, and roadside diners. To help you capture these moments, I’ve added a fully working camera and photo album to the game!📸 How it works: Even if your pockets are completely empty, you’ll always have the chance to snap a few shots for the memories.Press \ at any time to pull out your camera.Use the Scroll Wheel to zoom in and frame the perfect shot—whether it’s a stray cat sleeping at the station or an industrial landscape passing by your train window.Click \ to take the picture!📔 Your Personal Diary: Your photos don't just disappear into the void. They are safely stored in your Photo Album, which is built directly into the protagonist's Journal (press \ to open).By the end of your survival journey across the entire country, this album will hold the unique visual story of your trip. Every player's album will look completely different.I’m continuing to polish the UI, flesh out NPC dialogues, and optimize the locations. A huge thank you to everyone following the development, playing the demo, and sharing feedback!By the way, you can try out the camera and take your first shots of Vladivostok right now — the updated demo is already live on the store page! Jump in, test it out, and let me know what you think.

You're no longer alone on the road to Moscow: Meet your furry companion!

Hello, travelers!Development of Red Passport: Deported is in full swing. Hitchhiking from Vladivostok to Moscow without a penny in your pocket is a tough challenge. To brighten up the loneliness of the road, today I’ve added a major new feature to the game: a dog companion.Where to find them? You'll meet your future four-legged friend near the very beginning of your journey. Keep your eyes peeled once you reach the first village — that's where you'll find your loyal companion. How does it work? This isn't just a random NPC for a single scene. Once you meet in the village, the dog will tag along with your character and stay by your side for the rest of the game. Wandering along the roadsides, waiting for a ride, and hopping on freight trains will feel much less lonely now.I am currently polishing the dog's behavior mechanics so that it looks natural in the game world and doesn't get in your way while you're exploring locations. What do you think of this idea? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments!Don't forget to add the game to your wishlist — it really helps with development!

Listening to Feedback: Upgrading Mechanics and Breathing Life into Red Passport

Hello, travelers! 🎒It’s only been a few days since the release of the Red Passport: Deported demo, but I’ve already received a ton of great feedback from you. I’ve been watching your YouTube Let's Plays, carefully reading your reviews (including feedback from my previous game), and I immediately got to work.Today I uploaded an update for the demo that will make your tough journey to Moscow a bit more enjoyable and realistic. So, what's new?🛠️ No more "pixel-hunting" Judging by your YouTube videos, many of you were spending way too much time searching for quest tools, staring into every dark corner. After all, this game is about the harsh romance of the road, not an eye exam! That’s why I’ve added outlines/highlighting for key quest items (like the lug wrench in the screenshot). Now you’ll be able to complete your odd jobs faster and keep moving along your route.👀 NPCs now react to you The game world needs to feel alive. I’ve significantly overhauled the behavior of random passersby:Head tracking: Now, when you walk past NPCs, they will turn their heads and follow you with their eyes.Reaction to obstacles: Before, bots would just go about their business, ignoring the player. Now, if you stand in their way, they will realistically stop and wait for you to clear the path.🚂 The update is live! Just update the demo on Steam, jump into the game, and test the new mechanics for yourself.A huge thank you to everyone who shares their thoughts, makes videos, and supports the project. Your feedback is my main compass in development.
