Requested Changes Patch
Hey everyone, thanks for all the helpful discussion posts. They really help a lot. I made some minor changes to the overall gameplay and fixed some bugs. Changes: - Rock explosion sound no longer triggers twice. - Leg and Head hitboxes enlarged as to make combat a little more intuitive. So near misses won't frustrate players. - No Map data text centered. - Fixed some NPCs and Enemies fusing with the ground in sun villas. - Fixed camera clipping in the mines. - Plugged a hole in the mines. - Adjusted the volume of some SFX and overall made them quieter. As for the manual reloading bits, I am open to suggestions to make it less tedious. However, it will always stay clunky as to make upgrading to fully automatic weapons feel rewarding. Thanks for all the feedback everyone! Enjoy.Read full article on Community Announcements (BeautifulCliffsTNDev)Patch NotesOfficial
Weekly Bugfix Patch
Hey everyone, thanks for reporting these bugs. I am working on fixing every single bug reported. Changes: -Possible Enemy Respawning Fix ( I am not sure if this actually fixes it, so if anybody can replicate it after this patch please reach out ) - Max weapon upgrades now show the final value instead of just saying MAX. - Medusa Recoil going downwards is fixed. Now it should have some slight horizontal recoil and it is no longer upgradeable. - Carrying physics objects should now feel better as they will face the direction that your character is facing. - The map tab showing incorrect floor info is now fixed. - Completely overhauled the frequency mechanic, it should now work better. - Attach options now are more visible and intuitive. Thanks for reporting these bugs and please keep them coming. Enjoy!Read full article on Community Announcements (BeautifulCliffsTNDev)Patch NotesOfficial
Quality of Life Patch
Hey everyone, these are some minor fixes to make the overall experience a little bit better. I have managed to replicate the enemy respawning bug, so I am working on that as well. Changes: - Fixed a repeating dialogue with Susan Mary. - Fixed a typo with the stranger. - You no longer fall to the first floor when spawning into the mysterious house from the main menu - Added a max health indicator and now the bar will only be full after getting a couple of max health upgrades. This should make drinking tea more rewarding for the player. - Altered the button functionality in the shooting range challenge to be more intuitive.Read full article on Community Announcements (BeautifulCliffsTNDev)Patch NotesOfficial
Small Patch Concerning Bugs
Hey everyone, first of all reading your reviews and your posts on the discussion page, I am so happy everyone seems to be enjoying the game! It feels great! I have seen some bug reports as well, which are always invaluable to me. Here are some of the changes: - You can now exit the chest UI with tab or Esc. - The scroll wheel now works correctly for quick equip slots. - Bunny hopping now consumes stamina, but consumes less stamina as opposed to just running, because I like bunny hopping :D - Fixed some tutorial popups to fit with the new keybinding system - The filing cabinet drawers will now spawn the items in the correct place. - Map tab now displays "No LOCAL map data" to emphasize it is a local map. After 3 days, I still haven't been able to replicate the enemy spawning bug once. So, if anyone finds a consistent way please let me know. Please keep the bug reports coming, they are incredibly helpful. PS. You all are spot on with the inspirations for this game and I am glad you all are enjoying the combat system!Read full article on Community Announcements (BeautifulCliffsTNDev)AnnouncementsOfficial
About the enemy respawning bug!
Hey everyone, I have been trying to replicate the enemy respawning bug on my end to no avail. If there is anything specific you have to do for this bug that you have noticed, please let me know! I am working on stopping the loading from main menu crash as well. These 2 things are the biggest concerns for me right now. If I can replicate the respwaning bug, I will fix it and patch it in immediately.Thank you all for being patient with the game and sticking with it.
