Planetforge is a base construction game that deeply integrates "automated industrial production" with "tactical tower defense".
In the game, you will start from scratch to gather resources, set up production lines, and gradually transition to comprehensive industrial operations in the harsh alien environment. Faced with escalating threats, your production capacity becomes your greatest firepower - through ingenious tactical deployment and defensive constructions, to accomplish the grand feat from surviving on an alien surface to building colossal star-ring megastructures!
This game offers a player-friendly, fast-paced building experience. Quickly set up and expand your production lines, where every upgrade in production lines and surge in productivity instantly translates into visible combat power on the front lines.
The defense line is never just isolated turrets. Your power grid coverage, supply chain, and overall production capacity directly determine the firepower intensity of the defense line. Transform "logistics" into a core tactic, crushing enemies with a vast industrial system.
The turrets have distinct roles and strong differentiation: burst damage, penetration, area control, sustained damage... and can be freely combined to create your own heavy firepower playstyle. Battlefield feedback is clear and intuitive, with hit effects and stat counters immediately recognizable, allowing you to "see your power increase" after every tactical deployment.
The abundant resource zones, mysterious relics, and route choices in various levels present both risks and opportunities. Actively explore uncharted territories to secure the crucial tempo for your battles and industrial expansion.
As technology is unlocked, you will begin with a basic surface industrial park and ultimately construct operational and weaponizable planet-scale space megastructures, achieving a true industrial miracle.
