About this game

Red grew up in a cottage with her family on the outskirts of a vast forest, safe and quiet. The woods are not as safe as they had always appeared from Red's window however... On one fateful day, Red finds herself alone, her parents consumed by a terrible floral curse that had crawled out from between the trees.

Armed with an old lantern that her mother managed to give her before the curse took hold, Red must dive into the woods where the curse originated, seeking help from a certain family member that she had never met before.

Cursed animals stalk these glades, and a wolf appears to roam amongst the shadows, never drawing attention, yet always watching... Patch Notes Update 1.01

Hey everyone, hope you’re having a great time on your adventure with Red! There are a couple problems you may have experienced that the team would like to address in order to optimize the day 1 version of the game: First off, there seems to be some trouble with the collision of our platforms in the Forest area. These platforms are not intended to be head-hitters, so if you found yourself having trouble you are not alone! They have been fixed in the most recent patch. Next, and this is an important one, There is currently no way to save progress in the game. As Red: Flame and Fable is intended to be a smaller experience (expect 30 minutes to an hour of gameplay), we didn’t anticipate the demand for saving your progress to be as high as it was. We understand that this can be a huge problem for some players, and we are doing our best to ensure it gets sorted as soon as possible. Day one is just as exciting and frantic for us as it is for you guys! Keep an eye out for a patch coming later today, and have a great time exploring the woods with us!
