About the Game

Set in the early 2000s at the heart of Colombia’s most volatile transit hub, you are tasked with reopening a terminal long reclaimed by the jungle. You’ll step behind the desk where every passport hides a secret and every suitcase holds a potential fortune.

Scrutinize passports, flight tickets, and entry permits with a sharp eye. Spot forged stamps, altered dates, and suspicious travel patterns before a high-value target slips through your fingers. Every overlooked detail is a fatal flaw in your security.

Use era-appropriate scanning technology to detect illegal contraband hidden within layers of luggage. When you find high-value goods, you face a career-defining choice: hand them over to the state for prestige, or flip them on the black market to fund your private operations.

In this terminal, precision is profit. Use manual weighing mechanics to catch excess luggage and issue instant fines. Manage the airport’s official revenue while deciding how much of the "extra" stays in your own pocket.

Start with a jungle-choked wreck and transform it into a functional hub. Clean the floors, repair rusted gates, and upgrade your stations. As the workload increases, hire assistants to speed up the process and turn your terminal into a modern transit power.

Fill the jail cells with criminals to earn a reputation as an honest officer, or gain the cartels' trust by looking the other way. In this dangerous world, honesty offers safety, but corruption offers an empire. How will you play the system?

Devlog #5: Expanding the Horizon, Cryptic Intel & High-Stakes Consequences

Greetings, Border Officers! Shift dynamics in Narco Check are shifting. With Devlog 5, we are breaking the standard desk routine, moving away from simple binary decisions, and giving you interactive tools to handle high-stakes air cargo, underground codes, and citywide fallout. What you'll face on your next shift: Labor Camp Operations & Stepped Failures 🧱 Your actions directly influence enforcement outcomes, while mistakes build over time rather than causing instantaneous failure. Prisoner Transfer Management: Oversee the direct transfer of detained individuals to labor camps, turning daily DINA quotas into visible outcomes. Stepped Heat Mechanics: Mistakes trigger progressive escalation, moving from formal warnings to supervisor audits and financial penalties before resulting in a full run failure. Cartel Cipher & Advanced Encryption 🧩 Timed Cipher Solving: Break encoded Cartel transmissions using dynamic symbol maps, letter substitution grids, and partial name entries (e.g., matching "M _ R _ O" to daily manifest records) within a strict 20-second window.Attribute-Based Targets: Work with intel that provides physical and demographic traits, such as age, nationality, plane tail numbers, or vaccination status, rather than direct names. Fake Intel Detection: Spot counterfeit notes sent to lure you into government traps by verifying paper texture, seal authenticity, and rotational codewords. Wishlist Us: If you haven’t already, please add Narco Check to your Wishlist. It helps us tremendously with visibility! See you at the border! 👮‍♂️ The Craftone Games Team

Devlog #4: The Pressure Builds at the Station

Greetings, Border Officers! We've been working hard to turn Narco Check into a living, breathing world where your daily choices actually echo into the next day. This month, we focused entirely on expanding your station bringing you new areas to explore, new faces to read, and much higher stakes to juggle. Here is a quick, clean breakdown of what you'll be dealing with in Devlog 4: 🛩️ Stepping Away From the Desk: Aircraft & Cargo You're not just staring at passports anymore. Planes will now land right on your runway, forcing you to step out, review manifests, and search cargo crates yourself. Trust your eyes: We added a Blue Light (UV) mechanic. Hidden contraband markings won't just pop up with a generic warning; you’ll have to spot the anomalies yourself. Choose wisely: Tools like your crowbar and axe now have very specific purposes, so grabbing the right gear is part of the challenge. 📋 Your New Routine: Briefings & The Intel Board Every shift now kicks off with a quick morning briefing packed with DINA requests, intel notes, or specific warnings. Keep in mind, these official orders might directly clash with what other factions want you to do. No hand-holding: Your office Intel Board will display sketches and descriptions of wanted suspects. Don't expect glowing icons over their heads in line connecting the dots between the paperwork and the passenger is entirely on you. 👥 Deeper NPC Roles & Physical Clues The people waiting in your queue aren't just random faces; they could be cartel members, VIPs, or government informants, and how you handle them carries long-term consequences.Deeps in the details: Keep an eye out for Secret Notes left on your desk by messengers. Decoding these clues is how you'll naturally progress the story during your shift.Familiar faces: We've locked in The Dealer as your permanent, familiar contact for the cartel, while Messengers will blend into the crowd to slide you information. ⚖️ The Ultimate Choice: DINA vs. The Cartel At its core, Nar...

Devlog #3: The Price of Law and Disorder

Greetings, Border Officers! The jungle is getting restless, and so are the people crossing your border. We’ve been heads-down in development, focusing on the core of the Narco Check experience: the consequences of your actions and how smoothly you navigate them.Whether you’re a saint with a badge or a kingpin in the making, these new systems are going to test your limits. 🔒 The Jail: A Living SystemThe jail isn't just a visual prop anymore; it’s now a fully functional part of your station.Persistent Prisoners: Every smuggler or suspicious traveler you lock up is logged and kept in their cell for multiple days.Morning Roll Call: When you clock in the next morning, the people you arrested yesterday will still be there, reminding you of the choices you made during your previous shift. 👮 Security DetailYou’re an officer, not a bouncer. To keep the gameplay flow fast and focused on the paperwork, we’ve introduced a new arrest mechanic:The Panic Button: Once you decide to detain someone, simply press the red button on your desk.Escort System: Your hired security detail will arrive immediately, grab the passenger, and escort them to the cells. This allows you to stay at your desk and keep the line moving without interruption. 💰 The Bribe Rework: The Temptation of CashIn the 2000s, cash was king, and now it’s your biggest temptation. We’ve overhauled how bribes work to make them feel more personal and high-stakes:Immediate Offers: Caught a passenger with contraband? They might reach into their pocket and hold out a wad of cash right then and there. You have a split second to decide: take the "donation" or do your job.Cell Block Deals: The temptation doesn't end at the desk. Prisoners will now try to buy their freedom by offering envelopes of cash through their cell bars. The Corruption Trap: Every bribe you take is remembered. Push your corruption too far, and an audit will eventually knock on your door, leading to heavy fines, slashed paychecks, and a ruined reputation. ✨ Wi...
