About this game
They wanted to summon their god. They got a nightmare. Now, it's time to make them into a stew.
Souper Bloody is a rougelite hack-and-slash where you play as a demon from the lowest layer of the Underlasagne. You can only move around in the blood of your enemies, so get slashing!

Xylo (full name Xylo William Phone) is a demon living comfortably in the lowest layer of the Underlasagne until one day he gets accidentally summoned to the surface by the vegetable cult. Understandably cranky, he kills each and every piece of food on his way back down to the core of the Underlasagne.

PLAY as a demon seeking revenge on the food cults of the Underlasagne!

FIGHT cults of rotten vegetables and other foods!

UPGRADE your stats in between runs and find perks while battling!

DESCEND the layers of the Underlasagne!

BECOME John Souper Bloody!

Souper Bloody 10.2 - Fixes Galore!
It's been less than two weeks since Souper Bloody launched on Steam, and the response has been great! We're super thankful for everyone who's been playing the game! We received a good few bug reports and feature requests from peeps playing the game, and we've been chipping away at implementing them! This first update for Souper Bloody (10.2, yeah the numbers don't make sense don't worry about it) addresses these things:Fixed softlocks when opening the Steam Overlay and declining the layer 2 minigameFixed Oughnyion enemy not playing the hit SFXFixed minigame button SFX not being affected by volume sliderFixed player's landing animation not properly ending (would cause "vacuuming")Fixed missing cutouts on layer 2 rocksFixed health bar showing empty when at low healthAdded text in the upgrade menu that designates that an upgrade is maxed outAdjusted the number labels in the upgrade menu to be clearerIn addition to the bugfixes, we also tuned some of the difficulty to make the game a little more fair:The default melee attack width has been increased to 80 degreesAdded a check that guarantees a melee attack hits when Xylo is on top of an enemy, independent of the width statIncreased total player health by 25%Decreased fire rate of the Corny enemySlightly decreased the health of the Corny and Crusty Pepper enemiesAdjusted health of all layer 2 enemies to be a smoother difficulty increase from layer 1We hope that these changes make for a less frustrating experience, allowing you to focus more on beating those pesky bosses. As the cherry on top, we've also improved performance, so moving around in blood will be almost twice as smooth! For the speedrunners and modders out there, we plan to release the launch 10.1 version of the game under the Beta's tab sometime soon. Thanks for playing Souper Bloody!Read full article on Community Announcements (Sandal)
