    GalactiUpdate - v1.1.1

One Developer. One Game. One Mission. One Update. This is not just an update. It's a GALACTIUPDATE. What does that mean, you might ask? IDK. Anyway, this update has THREE new crises, which you are gonna have to discover yourself cause that makes it more fun! I've also added some procedural empire backstories. These are kinda like Dwarf Fortress descriptions but way less complicated as I don't have 10 years. Sometimes they don't even make sense. But there are many things in life that don't make sense. Also now you can change the color of empires and even force them to declare war on other empires or make peace or form an alliance. Isn't that awesome?TELL ME YOUR IDEAS FOR WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE GAME!v1.1.1* Added 3 new crises (no I'm not telling you what they are cause that's spoilers)* Added a way to change empire colors* Added a way to change diplomatic states between empires (war, peace, alliance)* Added procedural empire backstories* Added a new music track* Average tech graph now calculates the value based on stars instead of empires

    Tech Expansion Update - v1.1

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! It's truly the kinda game I wanted to see made. Sometimes I play it myself for hours even though I made it and I'm supposed to be tired of it by now. Sadly, nobody else likes it.GalactiWar is dead!Yep, completely confined to the deep dark pits of the Steam catalogue with no signs of light. If Steam was an ocean, my game would be in the Mariana Trench. Maybe wishlists and all that marketing bullshit really does matter. Or maybe the game was rigged from the start? It's not easy being indie, you get ignored by press, ignored by youtubers, rejected from festivals, buried by algorithms, etc. Basically I never found any "promotional tactic" that ever worked. Most people who know about this game probably found it from Next Fest or the personal calendar (lucky they added that right before I released) and maybe a few from itch.io. Or maybe I'm just the only one who likes this game!Whatever! I didn't get into game development cause I wanted to see the wishlists number go up. I got into it cause I LOVE DEVELOPING!!! THAT'S WHY I DID A NEW SURPRISE UPDATE FOR GALACTIWAR!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!Anyway, so this update is mostly about tech. Only five tech levels seemed a little short. So I increased it to ten. And added a bunch new stuff that empires can unlock, like more powerful versions of frigates, destroyers, and cruisers.THE FULL CHANGELOG:v1.1* Added tier 2 and 3 frigates, destroyers, and cruisers* Science labs are less likely to get destroyed in wars* Tech level 10 is now the maximum tech level* Prices on trade goods are not going out of control anymore* Research is slower so empires don't blitz through tech levelsTech level unlocks1 - Frigate I2 - Destroyer I3 - Frigate II4 - Cruiser I5 - Destroyer II6 - Carrier7 - Frigate III8 - Dreadnought, Cruiser II9 - Destroyer III10 - Doomsday Weapon, Cruiser IIIWeapons* Star cannon - AOE splash damage (Tech 8)* Plasma beam - Purple laser (Tech 6)* Scattershot cannon - Fires many projectiles at a time (Tech 9)...
