Ride the wind in Windy Day! On a windy day, you begin your journey to meet a dear friend, carrying a gift in hand. With only your own two legs to move and jump, push forward through the wind. Your friend is waiting for you at the end of the road.
Windy Day is a simple 2D platformer game made with pixel graphics. Except it's WINDY. The wind pushes you back, but it also carries you forward. Your goal is to conquer the peak against the strong wind. Using only the move and jump controls, push through the wind and reach the top.
Taming the wind is no small feat. At the end of the journey, hidden secrets await to be uncovered.
Wind
Sometimes, strong winds will push you back. But don’t stop. When the wind pushes you from behind, you can run faster than ever and feel like you are moving together with the wind.
Slope
Run up slopes with the wind. The wind will lift you up and help you reach places that a normal jump cannot.
Fall
Even if you slip and fall, don’t give up. Remember the friend waiting for you, and keep moving forward.

Hello! I’m Dreaming Rabbit, the solo developer of Windy Day.This is my first announcement for the game.Before anything else, I want to sincerely thank players from Japan, Estonia, Korea, Vietnam, Turkey, and Greece who have added this small project to their wishlists. The numbers may still be small, but they truly mean a lot to me, and I’m very grateful for your support.Although the Steam page currently lists English as the only supported language, I designed the game so it can be fully enjoyed even if English isn’t your first language. My goal is for everyone to experience the fun without running into language barriers.Windy Day is a simple but challenging game. However, I didn’t want the challenge to come from clunky controls or unexpected bugs. I’ve put a lot of effort into the overall game feel, making sure the character responds precisely to your inputs, so movement and jumps feel reliable and responsive.I’ve added controller support for players who prefer using a gamepad. I also improved menu navigation so keyboard users can move through all menus without needing to use the mouse. You can play the game comfortably with whichever control method you prefer.Lastly, if you have a price in mind that feels fair for this game, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
