Development Update – Preparing for Endix November 2026
Hello everyone!Over the past few months we've been hard at work preparing for our biggest Endix yet. Some of the changes below are already implemented, while others are currently in development and will be ready before the November event. As always, many of these improvements come directly from your feedback. Keep it coming!CompletedServer OptimizationFollowing the last event, server performance became our highest priority. We've spent the past months optimizing the backend and, thanks to our community, we've hosted and will continue to host several stress-testing sessions to identify potential bottlenecks before launch. While no online event is ever completely predictable, we're much more confident heading into November.Build OptimizationWe've optimized the overall build to improve performance across a wider range of hardware. We will have smoother gameplay, fewer loading issues and fewer cases of missing textures or videos.Collision ImprovementsAs part of the optimization process, we revisited collisions across the entire expo. We've fixed a huge number of issues, although experience tells us our visitors will probably still find new ways to escape the map.If (or to be accurate when) you do... let us know.Settings & Menu ImprovementsWe've made several quality-of-life improvements to the settings menu, including:Better configuration savingResolution scale improvementsWindowed Mode support for streamersLaunching with the Medium graphics preset instead of Epic by defaultOverall, the settings experience should feel much smoother and more intuitive.Key Distribution ImprovementsOne of the most common pieces of feedback from the previous event was the key distribution system.Previously, visitors had to wait through the cooldown (for security reasons) only to discover that a game had already run out of keys. We understand that most of negative feedback came from that and we apologise. A feature aiming to be the cherry on top became a reason why some visitors were pretty frust...Read full article on Community Announcements (Korregart)AnnouncementsOfficial
ENDIX servers stay open until Wednesday 00:00 UTC
You asked for more time, so we're keeping the ENDIX servers open until Wednesday at 00:00 UTC.It may be a little quieter, but latecomers are welcome to explore the booths, discover games, and experience what we and our exhibitors have built. Both challenges remain active, and you can compete until the servers close.Thank you for supporting ENDIX and our vision for unique and accessible gaming events. We hope to see you inside. We also want to thank you for the feedback you've shared with us. With every event, we take the visitor experience seriously, and your feedback helps us improve. One of the first things we'll address for the next edition is the server infrastructure, which unfortunately caused issues for some visitors over the past few days.On the keys: during our previous event, we distributed them all at once. This time, we tried spreading them across three days to accommodate visitors joining on different days. However, both the quantity available and the overall distribution design may not have been ideal for those who joined ENDIX primarily for the key hunt. This is something we'll carefully rethink for future events, alongside many other improvements suggested by our community. Our vision is to create a community-driven, accessible event for gamers everywhere. We want you to know that we hear your feedback, we read every review, and we'll keep doing our best to make ENDIX live up to that vision.Thank you for being part of the journey.Read full article on Community Announcements (TheFaceLessGab)AnnouncementsOfficial
