About this game
The Lyra Signal
A quiet signal. A forgotten voice. A mystery that echoes across time.
The Lyra Signal is a story-driven visual novel focused on atmosphere, mystery, and emotional discovery.
You follow Leo, a young man grappling with loss after the death of his parents. While sorting through remnants of the past, he uncovers an old cassette recording containing his father's voice and a name that refuses to fade: Lyra.
What begins as an attempt to understand that final message slowly draws Leo toward a signal that feels both distant and unnervingly close.
As Leo investigates further with the help of his friends, fragmented messages and moments begin to surface. Memories, perception, and reality blur together, leaving him unsure whether what he is chasing is truth, coincidence, or something that should have remained silent.
Gameplay is designed as a linear, choice-light visual novel. Players progress through dialogue, visuals, and music, with limited responses that subtly influence interpretation and outcome. There are no traditional fail states or combat mechanics. Instead, the experience emphasizes pacing, mood, and narrative cohesion.
Player choices shape how key moments are understood and determine which of several endings the story reaches. The Lyra Signal is not a game about winning or losing, but about listening to fragments across time and deciding what they truly mean.

Version 1.3.2 – Character Sprite Remaster
Hello everyone, I've just released Version 1.3.2 for The Lyra Signal. Over the past few weeks, I've been revisiting the game's visuals and taking a fresh look at some of the character sprites. After spending so much time with the project, there were certain presentation issues that I had honestly become used to and stopped noticing. This update focuses on improving the character artwork throughout the game. Changes in Version 1.3.2: • Remastered and reprocessed character sprites • Adjusted sprite sizing and presentation across the game • Improved character framing and on-screen composition • Minor visual polish and cleanup The story and gameplay remain unchanged, but I hope these adjustments help make the overall presentation feel more consistent and enjoyable. Thank you to everyone who has played The Lyra Signal, shared feedback, left reviews, and helped me continue improving the project. Every update is a chance for me to learn something new and make the game a little better than before. I hope you enjoy the improvements, and as always, thank you for your support. – ESTREARead full article on Community Announcements (ESTREA)Patch NotesOfficial

Developer Diary – Language Support Progress
Hello everyone,Today I wanted to share a small developer update regarding localization work for The Lyra Signal.Japanese language support is currently in progress and already implemented internally. Right now I am carefully reviewing the translation in-game to ensure the dialogue and tone remain consistent with the original version.Because this is a narrative-focused visual novel, I want to make sure the reading experience still feels natural and clear for players. If everything goes smoothly during testing, Japanese support will be included in an upcoming update.Localization for other regions may also be explored in the future, depending on how the current process develops.Thank you again for playing and supporting the game. It’s always exciting to see players from different parts of the world discovering The Lyra Signal.More updates soon.Read full article on Community Announcements (Ahbeng)
