About this game
Reaper’s Ledger
Reaper’s Ledger is an idle clicker game set in purgatory, where you manage the endless flow of souls through the underworld. As the Reaper’s assistant, your role is to keep operations running smoothly, efficiently, and without interruption.
Souls arrive constantly. Systems must scale. The ledger must grow.
Core Gameplay
Start small and build upward:
Tap to collect souls and initiate progress
Construct purgatory structures to automate soul collection
Upgrade systems to increase efficiency and production
Unlock new buildings and mechanics as the underworld expands
Every upgrade feeds into a larger system designed around steady growth, long-term planning, and satisfying progression.
Idle Progress
Progress never stops.
Even while you are away, souls continue to flow through purgatory. When you return, you are rewarded for the time spent offline, allowing the game to respect both active play and idle progression.
Dynamic Events
Occasionally, special events appear that can temporarily boost production, grant instant rewards, or alter gameplay in powerful ways. These moments are brief and encourage attention without demanding constant interaction.
Underworld News Network
Stay informed through the U.N.N that reports on the state of purgatory. Updates range from operational notices to darkly humorous reports from the underworld, reflecting your progress and milestones throughout the game.

The Beginning of the Ledger
I’m going to speak plainly.Reaper’s Ledger in its current state is very simple. Some of you have pointed that out clearly. There are few mechanics. There is limited depth. It feels bare. You are not wrong. This launch is not a finished product. It is the foundation stone. The bones of something larger.Reaper’s Ledger is being built as a community driven experience. I did not want to build a massive system in isolation and hope people liked it. I wanted to start with a core loop and grow it based on what you actually want to play.Right now, the game is basic by design. The systems are minimal so they can expand in the direction players push them. But here is the important part:Now that it is live, development shifts from “my idea” to “your direction.”If you feel there is no depth, tell me what depth should look like.If you want meaningful progression, describe it.If you expected reaping mechanics, management systems, balancing souls, or something entirely different, I want to hear it.Negative reviews do not discourage development. Silence would. This is Early Access in its truest form. A beginning. Not an end. Here is what I am actively working on next:Expanded progression systemsMore interactive mechanics beyond simple upgradesA clearer gameplay hook tied directly to the “Reaper” fantasyVisual and feedback improvements so progress feels meaningfulIf you are willing to stick around and help shape this world, join our Discord. You can find the link on the store page or down below.Leave feedback. Share your ideas. Tear systems apart constructively. The Ledger is empty because it is waiting to be written.Let’s build something worthy of the title.- Michael PettitRead full article on Community Announcements (The Embalmer)
