Explore and manage an ancient megabuilding in Veiled Vents, an adventure RPG where every system you activate could be your last. Developed by Tav Melancholy, this early access experience combines simulation with survival challenges across its sprawling corridors.
About this game
Take on the role of a megabuilding supervisor, tasked with maintaining power, heat, and food supply to the inhabitants residing there. Be strategic with upgrades and expansions to avoid getting in over your head and losing it all..
The main heating system has gas level, charge, fill speed, and fuse integrity that can all be upgraded to hold more and be more efficient. The system can also be set to run idle with the use of the Thermostat switch!! Just be aware of the fuse integrity before you walk away for too long!
Excess power can be used to send VENTBA out in the search for food and valuables. Valuables found give more money to purchase upgrades to the heating system and housing.
-Each expedition generates a unique vent system with multiple rooms for Ventba to navigate!
-During expeditions, Ventba will sometimes find temporary run upgrades to protect from damage and extend the journey length, giving a bit of roguelike depth to the adventures, with more upgrades being thought up and made as I develop the game!
-Get closer to Ventba and she may reveal more about the origins of this megastructure and the ones who made her.
Contains atmospheric and dark sound design for immersion in the building and its machines/environment, with a full backing soundtrack that is being expanded.

FPS fixes!
Hello vent keepers! Today I put together a small update to try and alleviate FPS issues caused by the tower sim and other systems running at the same time. -Added a button that toggles rendering of the tower sim but retains its functionality. -Changed the tick speed of the tower sim and burner to 1 tick per second (half the speed as before to lower # of calculations run at once) this DOES make the update on the burner ui slightly less smooth since it updates less often. This in theory should cut the calculation load roughly in half I hope! Please let me know how this affects your system performance! -TavRead full article on Community Announcements (~Tav_Melancholy~)Patch NotesOfficial
